Thank you for your reaction! This is Forestella, a crossover group from Korea. They are the winner group in the Phantom Singer 2; an audition show to form a crossover quartet like il Divo from Korea. However, as they have their own unique style, they won't be Korean il Divo, they will be the Forestella of the world! Forestella has sung great covers like Bohemian Rhapsody, We are the Champions, Hijo de la Luna, Heal the World, the Sound of Silence, My Favorite Things, Champions (mash-up of Champs league theme and Champions by Jo SuMi), Nella Fantasia, Scarborough Fair..etc etc. At the Phantom Singer All Stars they sang Time in a bottle, Je suis Malade as well. Shape of You in English, Spanish and African Zulu is fantastic indeed. You can even see them dancing singing Smooth Criminal as well! If you are a LOL fan, check their Warriors and Legends Never Die! And they broke the record of their own with EXO's MAMA winning 6 trophies for King of Kings in a row in Immortal Songs. Check their magnificent performances of Bad Romance and Lazenca Save us, Unwritten Legend and Despacito too. Forestella is a quartet of Ko WooRim (a classical bass, intense abyss-deep low tone), Kang HyungHo (an ex-research chemist, rock vocalist with soprano head voice falsetto), Cho MinGyu (a classical leggiero tenor, light boyish crystal clear tone) and Bae DooHoon (a musical actor, 159th King of the Masked Singers, emotion convincer good at R&B, Pop). Each has distinct tone and style of singing, different charm. But all of them are famous as practice-freaks. They meet almost everyday to practice together. In a radio program the leader (Cho MinGyu) revealed it would be around 20 days they didn't meet in the year. Bae DooHoon also said they don't meet 1~2 days in a month. I think this explains how their perfection can be possible. Don't miss their m/v for Save our lives! It's full of wonders. Each of them is representing an element in the m/v. They sang Fake Love of BTS and their song Save our lives at MAMA. Their majestic original song Utopia is a must check. Now I see they are creating a genre called Forestella. They showed "What crossover is" with Save our lives and showing "What Forestella does" with Utopia! Enjoy their diversity with their original song White Night too. Forestella released their single KOOL in Kpop style to fulfill their promise of Kpop cover dance for exceeding 990K views of Save our lives m/v. They struggled to choose a Kpop to dance, became to think making their own Kpop song with dance! As crossover works for all genres, Forestella did a great job for their fans. Take a listening to Chosen One, an EPIC OST of the Sword of Aramun. Forestella released fantastic original Snow Globe m/v! Kang HyungHo composed it, and all the Forestella members contributed in arranging it. Another original Chagall's Dream brings back the moment of Forestella Festival in my heart, I feel like in my lucid dream seeing Forestella altogether in the future in advance. Each of the members has a great voice, but their harmony when they sing together is outstanding. That's why they are known as the "Kings of Harmony". Their group name is a mixture of "forest" and the Latin/Italian word "stella" which means star. Their names from left to right in this video: Ko Woorim (classically trained basso profundo), Kang Hyungho (countertenor and rock voice, no official vocal training), Bae Doohoon (musical actor) and Cho Mingyu (classically trained tenor and leader of the group). They were formed on the show "Phantom Singer". The aim of this show is to form a quartet. The candidates start as solo artists, then form duos, trios and finally quartets. Forestella is the winner of season 2. They sing all kinds of genres and in many languages: Korean, English, French, Spanish, Italian, African Zulu, Russian etc. The guys also have their own songs like "Save our Lives" (1st part of a trilogy; the music video is a cinematic masterpiece), "Utopia" (Queen vibes, 2nd part of the trilogy) and "White Night" (simply gorgeous).

This performance was for the 1st round of Phantom Singer All Stars. (I'll say PSAS) PSAS could be filmed because serious covid situation made every concert canceled. For that reason they had online audience and a few celeb guests only. All the finalists groups from 3 seasons were invited and each round had a specific themes. Forestella is the 2nd season's winner. Each season has 3 final groups and all the final 9 groups were invited to PSAS. The celebrity guests and online audience voted to someone they liked. There were 7 rounds with different theme. But one theme was solo performance representing the group and one theme was seasons' match. So each group had 5 songs as a whole group. Forestella sang Time in a bottle, Je suis malade, Shape of you, a Snail, Inner Universe. They compete on the themes given and sometimes compete as solo, as member-changed quartet or duet in this show. The theme for the 1st round was making stage representing the own originality of themselves. As you saw they showed their originality like this. And I felt the lyrics was what they're talking to each other because they came through tough times together for years and share strong bond among them. BTW I got chills when I came to know the time was going backwards! See the clock face was reversed. These genius artists made me imagine a story about the Time in a bottle this way. Every time they make me love them even more than ever!

Valeu! O Forestella me trouxe ate o seu canal, muito obrigada por reagir ao grupo Forestella. Como você pode ver eles são incríveis. Nesta interpretação na primeira metade da música eles fizeram apenas uma homenagem a interpretação verdadeira e depois eles colocaram um toque pessoal ... tudo que el3s cantam eles transformal em algo ainda mais bonito de se ouvir. Ja devem ter lhes dito, que eles sao um grupo sul coreano, que foi formado no Phanton Singer 2. Forestella canta em 8 idiomas já registrado : inglês, espanhol, italiano, russo, latim, alemão francês e zulu ( lingua africana). Você encontrará músicas as quais eles colocam até 4 idiomas. Eles sao conhecidos como os Reis das Harmonias, e sempre criam novos arranjos para as musicas que interpretam. Eles não possuem um gênero de música... cantam de tudo do classico ao pop e rock . Porém sempre entregam trabalhos Magnificos. 😅 Deixarei o nome deles em ordem começando pelo Baixo Woorim : tenor baixo Hyungo Ho ( ou Pitta, como muitos o chamam): contratenor, soprano e rock. Ko and Kang are my favorites because of their opposites (deep bass and countertenor with falsetto). However, the 4 voices are perfectly harmonious. Well done Michael 😊😊

Good reaction to my favourite group of singers. The acapella groups can do great harmonies but Forestella is in a class apart (like Dimash). They can sing brilliantly basically anything and are justifiably known as The Kings Of Harmony.
