Garth Brooks live back in the day was on another level. Fantastic performer. Great voice. what's not to like?! I was bummed when he stepped away, but he did it to be a father and I respect him for the decision. Anything live by Garth I'll be here for. You are takin me back to my high school years in Tulsa Freakin Oklahoma! Garth is the ultimate showman and I damn proud he’s a fellow Okie! I got the honor of going to his college town of Stoolwater and catch him at a little spot on the strip before he became huge. Even then he was an animal on stage. I saw him in Tulsa in the late 90s. There were som many people who wanted to catch Garth that he decided to turn one show into five straight nights in Tulsa so ALL of us could see him. You can’t see him and not love him. That man goes to tears when the fans sing with him. I will always be a huge fan of his. I’ve two stepped the floors off clubs in Oklahoma to his music since I was 18 years old.

Yes, Garth Brooks is the country GOAT, and his catalog is DEEP! But the reason I truly love him? He’s a HUMANITARIAN! “People Loving People” is a lovely song. LOVE Garth (Garfff) Brooks live concerts…when I’m there; but a lot of his songs “intentions” get drowned out by the crowd noise, and where the mic is set up in relation to the stage/sound system. I’m not a big fan of live music videos. Give this a listen from the studio/album recording and I think you’ll pick up some nuances that get missed from this live performance video. Don’t get me wrong! He’s an AMAZING and AWESOME entertainer! His concerts are incredible! But pulling music/video from them is hit and miss…and mostly miss.

It was a thrill!! One thing that irks me is not being able to find a good video of you singing "Red Strokes" at the white piano. One of my all time favorites.
