The song is about a teenage girl going out with her boyfriend. Her mom says "You better be home before the morning" Then describes the evening. They start at the Honky Tonk (club) but that's not what they're looking for. So, they go down and park by the creek and sit back and listen to George Strait and dance cheek to cheek. They do this from 10-midnight. At midnight, they start the "hard romancing" at 1 AM the truck is still rocking. At 2 AM they're still going at it. They finally stop long enough to check the clock at 3 AM. Then at 4 AM they decide to start heading home. By 5 AM she's finally home, but the sun is coming up because the rooster's crowing. Last verse: 6 PM Saturday, the girl is grounded, she's done all of her chores, and her man pulls up long enough for her to jump in the truck despite being grounded and they take off again. There's your full break down lol

Premise: A girl heads out for a Friday evening date at 6:00 in the evening. Her mother tells her to be back in bed before dawn. After the teenagers see a show and get a bite to eat, they head out for some late-night dancing. Eventually, they spend the night there and head out to her house at 4:00 A.M. The girl does not get home in time, and is grounded and punished with chores, but sneaks out again at 6:00 P.M. the next evening.

I wasn't into country but I had heard a few of his songs and thought they were decent. That man kept up that same type of energy through the whole concert and many encores.
