The Gorillaz lore is long and complicated, and dates all the way back to their first album. However there's a few videos made of some fans explaining what's been going on up to this point if you want to catch up to it, really helps with understanding future videos lol.

the story to this song is 2-D was kidnapped by a cult that was a founded in the 1920's that sacrifice an innocent person to that demon to retain there youth the woman that removed her mask was the one that tricked 2-D by having him over to vent and drink tea till things where ready. While that was going on Russel was watching the static channel trying to get messages from it for Murdocs cult that the band started with Murdoc being the leader Russel the seeker of truths and Noodle being the second in command. On one of the days 2-D and murdoc got into a fight and 2-D wend to there to her place for tea and to calm down only to not return. Noodle told Murdoc that 2-D was missing but he didnt beleive her till days went by by then Russel got a message about what was going on and where and when they could save 2-D thats where the video takes place and after this one is the video for Cracker Island.
