The Fall > The Now Now > Plastic Beach > Gorillaz > Demon Days > Humanz for me. I know it’s weird, but I like the ‘big three’ mostly equally, so don’t take it that I think demon days is second worst, I love all of them. Except Humanz. We don’t speak of that. The Fall and The Now Now have a unique sound to them I love and often find myself craving - unable to be quenched by anything else. And the way the tracks blend in The Fall is amazing; the level of experimentation and sampling makes it one of the truest Gorillaz albums to me, as it’s all really meant to be one big experiment. Some tracks seem a little incomplete, but it works better as an album than all the others in my opinion. Although it doesn’t have the same flamboyance as the other albums, the Now Now is just a load of great and chill tracks. Idaho, Magic City and Kansas really take me away - it’s really nice and grounded in that it’s not really trying to be anything it isn’t.

I just want to say this Anthony, one of my favorite parts of your channel is how the text you put on the screen argues with you (E.G. “We get it, you’re going with the normie pick”). It adds a lot of comedy to your vids, and even though it’s such a small detail, I appreciate it a lot

My experience with Plastic Beach was the same. Rhinestone Eyes, Stylo, Melancholy Hill..so good. And it introduced me to Bobby Womack for which I'll always be thankful.

I'm so happy you love Plastic Beach now. Its definitely an album that grows on you, but it eventually consumes you. It's like a movie that humbles you, but it's so enjoyable.

Turns out we have very different taste even when it comes to Gorillaz songs. And yet you still ended up with a top 4 that I'm not at all mad at. Only difference is I would have had "Kids With Guns" in it over "19-2000". "19-2000" would have gotten knocked out by "Strobelight" in my bracket. But ultimately, "Stylo" would be my #1 too. It's just like a perfect gumbo of musical elements. I approve, my melon.

@@patronsaintgains yes, this dude nailed it. I keep trying again in case it does improve, but nope. It gets considerably worse with every listen. Currently ranked at a weak 1/10, and dropping steadily.
