You have no idea the rabbit hole you’re about to get into with Home Free.. these guys are the best Acapella group out there (in my opinion).. every sound is done by voice, absolutely NO instruments.. the guy doing the harmonica sound is Adam Rupp, one of the founders of the group, he is a world champion beat boxer (at least winning it twice), the first singer in the hat is Austin Brown, The heavyset bearded (2nd lead) is Rob Lundquist, the guy in the back with a hat is Adam Chance (he’s the one doing the jaw harp you hear at the beginning and end of the song), and finally, the deep bass is Tim Foust.. he blows out speakers with his deep bass, but can also sing in much higher ranges..

You have just been introduced to the best a cappella group out there. These guys are all so talented. They lean towards country but they can do any genre. They all can take the lead depending on whos voice is best for the song. They are known for their tight harmonies. Tim Foust is one of the best bass singers out there & their beatboxer vocal percussionist Adam Rupp can simulate any sound. This song is very old & is done in the bluegrass country style. It was used in the movie "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" starring George Clooney.

I started falling in love with a Capella groups about 3 years ago, and never looked back.....just the skill alone, in creating instruments like in a band, with just their voices, sets these groups apart from all the rest, and their skills are beyond mention! Another thing I also appreciate as well, is they are able to cross genres with ease, as in the case, where Home Free is generally Country, they can also do soul, rock pop, and everything in-between. I would love you to check out their version Boyz 11 Men's, End of the Road, just so you can see their versatility, and The Butts Remix, for their sense of humor 😊

New subscriber. Great reaction, too! I love it when people discover Home Free. They are a freakishly talented group of fellas! They can make you laugh sometimes, they can make you cry sometimes but they always impress. Here's a cheat sheet on the group: Adam Rupp, co-founder of HF and the awesome beatboxer. Tim Foust, bass. He has a five-octave range. Rob Lundquist (glasses and beard) Tenor Harmony. Austin Brown, Lead Tenor. Adam Chance, Baritone ( goes by Chance). Chance replaced Chris Rupp (co-founder) who left in 2016. Take Me Home Country Roads is phenomenal but you might also want to check out Dreamer, When A Man Loves A Woman, End Of The Road, One Man Band, American Pie featuring Don McLean, I Swear, Blue Ain't Your Color, Dive Bar Saints, The Driver, Crazy and Folsom Prison Blues. For some funny ones: Butts Medley, All About That Bass, Champagne Taste, Hillbilly Bone and their newest one, Ray Stevens' Mississippi Squirrel Revival. For some serious ones: How Great Thou Art, Go Rest High On That Mountain. When you are familiar with all the boys and their vocal roles, do Mayday. And last but not least, Brothers In Arms. It is haunting and beautiful. They have recently released several new songs that you will want to check out. Unchained Melody, Listen to the Music, Brother...the list goes on. To switch it up..try Two Country Singers try singing Opera. Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole!

Home Free is incredible. Everything they do is great. And although they are a Country A-cappela group, they can really sing all genres. They really all have great voices with their own specialties. Even Adam Rupp who started the group with his brother Chris Rupp. Chris left the group in 2016 to go solo but also to start other projects with his sister, among others. Adam Rupp-Beatboxer but is actually an inhuman freaking good mouth artist. Tim Foust- Deep bass but also as a tenor and everything in between is possible. Austin Brown-High tenor with his great runs and high notes. Rob Lundquist (beard and glasses)-Tenor, with a voice like velvet and so much soul. Adam Chance (back left, who is called Chance) - Baritone/ Bass, a voice so smooth and sexy. And who here also makes the Jaw harp sound. There is no permanent lead singer in Home Free. They look at every song whose voice suits it best, the best harmony, no egos, no rivalries, great personalities etc. Besides, they can all beatbox (see their live performance 9to5). .. This is one of the many covers they do in addition to various originals, and each one is just amazing. Take the time to discover Home Free because it will be a great tour. For me they are number 1 A-Cappella group

Hey Shaq, been following you for a while and just saw your reaction to Home Free. Let's just say you're about to go on a crazy journey with these guys. They are 💯 Acapella and use no instruments, I have seen them in concert and Adam Rupp, the beat boxer, absolutely does that harmonica with his mouth. My suggestion is watch one of his drum solo videos, he is a 2 time world champion beat boxer. Then check out their cover of End of the Road by Boys 2 Men. They won I believe it was season 4 of the song off, also check out their cover of Johnny Cash "Ring of Fire" and hold on to your seat for the final note of the song tanks to Tim Foust. All I can say is enjoy the journey my friend.

First lead singer is Austin Brown (High tenor). Second lead was Rob Lundquist (bearded tenor). Low bass guy was Tim Foust (5 octave range so he can pretty much sing any part he wants to). The other bearded guy is Adam Chance(sings baritone normally but also has an impressive range and covers bass whenever Tim is singing in the clouds). Finally, the human sound machine is Adam Rupp. He does all of the beats and background instruments. This band is all acapella, using only their voices to make all of the sounds in their music. Dig deep into this rabbit hole you’ll be glad you did

Austin Brown their high tenor sang the lead here but they can all sing their faces off and trade off who leads Chance is their baritone. He can sing bass. He was doing the Jews Harp sound. Rob Lundquist in overalls is their tener and kills his lead when they cover End of the Road yes the Boys to Men song. Tim Foust is their bass with a 5 octave range. He can sing anywhere he wants to but usually sings bass with Home Free. They all have solo channels with many solo song. They won the Sing Off TV show in 2013 and the rest is history.
