I like the story behind this song. It's written by Chris Stapelton, and he said he wrote it on Valentine's Day because he thought he should write something sweet. It was his first number 1 song (Josh singing it), and it bought him a house.

Great song & artist! Tim Foust from Home Free does a great version of "Your Man". He also does another Josh Turner song with Chris Rupp called "Long Black Train". I think you would really enjoy both songs. Tim is one of the few bass singers today that can really do justice to any Josh Turner song.

I had the hugest crush on Josh Turner when I was a teenager. That good looking and with a deep southern drawl that makes you melt. This is my favorite song from him, still have it on all of my playlists to this day still. I had his first two albums and played the heck out of them, especially the first one. I recommend "Why Don't We Just Dance" from him. That's my second favorite of his.

You could sing country. There's more black people singing now. My man Charley Pride was the first. I remember going to school in late 60's. Someone said that the new singer with a hit song that our locally owned little radio station was playing it several times a day, he was a black man. No one said anything. He was me and my boyfriend's Barry White. Our daughter's name is Angel, we played his songs on the 8-track player in his car. When you live in the country there's plenty parking places up on the mountains. He's got a song Kiss an Angel Good Morning. Hence our daughter is named Angel. He passed away back in 2020. He was 81 years old. He has a son that looks just like him and can sing.
