Lenny Williams was the most popular lead singer of the in-demand horn-laden band Tower of Power (after they made "You're Still A Young Man"), most notably on their biggest hit "What Is Hip", "Willing To Learn", "Clever Girl" and "Will I Ever Found A Love" but found solo success with this jam, "Choosing You", "You Got Me Running", "Shoo Doo Fu Fu Ooh!" and "Midnight Girl!" This 1978 jam was in a class by itself and remains a favorite with the women to this day! The MC looks like Thomas McClary of The Commodores! Thank you for this rare live performance of this classic favorite! Lenny was as known for his "ah aha ah ah ah ah ah" as Jeffrey Osborne became known for his "can you woo woo woo" - and this was the era where the competition was thick and artists tried to outdo each other!

Recommendation. you must react to Alexander O'Neal " If you were tonight" and " Sunshine". Even if you decide not to react to them my brother listen to them on you own time. These tracks had the hood on lock when they first dropped. Also, Earth, Wind and Fire's "Thats the way of the world" Number 1 on the pop and the R&B charts when it first drop.
