I listened to this album on a Sony Walkman when I was 13yo. Sitting in the back seat of my parent’s car. Over and over again. I still listen to this day. I learned so much musically from them. And it only got better going into the 90’s with Pantera, RATM, Rust in piece ect… Best time in music from a creativity standpoint

My favorite song of metallica the unforgiven from the black album. I really love the melody of that song. I feel the spirit of the music specially the chorus. I really really love the melody.

This is my favorite album of metallica. The instrument is really different.

A symphony orchestra is exactly what this sounds like... the movement of sound, the coordination, the low notes undertones that weave in and out from underneath the guitar riffs - all this done with "machine" like precision. I agree with you 100% on that...

Totally agree. Metallica is a symphony, I have made that comparison for 20 years. This album is great. You need to watch the symphony and metal concert! It will blow your mind. The thing that should not be, no leaf clover, or sad but true

I have always thought that as well. Justice album in particular would totally translate with a full symphony orchestra. The strings!

The most transitional and loads of riffs! From Papa Het, what would you expect?!! This album is full of grief 😔 and it shows in the aggression you can hear in James vocals on entire album, especially 89' Seattle it's definitely there!! RIP Cliff Burton 😞💔❤️🔥🤘〽️

A great album all the way through, still relevant today as the day it came out 🤘 although Jason got screwed on the mixing 😢 Some of Lar's best drumming is on this album imo A live version of this is a must

The whole album has basically no bass in the mix . It’s all low end guitars & I actually love the sound of this album.
