Yes, the Jackson’s, including Michael, are “soft-spoken, ” but what the OP is saying is that the higher-pitched/ tone of voice that people commonly attribute to Michael is not how he spoke when not in public or filmed; if that makes sense, lol. His voice is much deeper in tone “naturally.”. In other words, the high pitched voice that people think of when thinking of Michael is realistically a contrived tone of voice. Michael was someone who had a reason for everything, lol.

If you listen closely Mike is clearly saying Tom Sneddon(actual name) on the track but the lyric book he changed the name to Dom Sheldon so he wouldn't be sued over it. The man was smart and the HIStory(His-story) album was very personal to MJ and was released in 95 a couple years after those false allegations

The actual Mans name is Thomas (Tom) Sneddon and Michael is actually saying that name in the song, the name reads Dom Sheldon in the lyric book to avoid any legal action but at this time in his life he wasn’t fucking around with nobody who was pushing false narratives about him. Tom tried to act as if he didn’t care about the song but Michael was hitting him with those words.

It IS a good song, you guys just didn't like it. Something that totally fine btw. I also must say that Money works way better in context of the rest of the album than to just listen to it on its own. There are plenty of reaction of this song on yt, and no one thought this was a bad song. Like I said before, context. If you haven't listened to the HIStory album from start to finish, you just can't fully judge it. There have been plenty of songs (or artists) in the past I didn't like at first but grew on me. Sometimes after 2 listens, sometimes after 2 years or hearing it in context of the rest of the album. No hate though.
