i’ve loved muse forever, i understand those who say they used to be better but imo just because they were so exceptionally great back in the day and it’s too hard to recreate/come up with something that new and cool again and again, it’s unfair to say they are not good anymore at all (lots of people say that). they are trying to rediscover themselves and some people are not into it… but i think i am, even if not 100%, so sign me up for whatever they make next

Their new album has a bit of a variety of songs as ”Won’t stand down” and ”Kill or be killed” are a bit heavier and I don’t know how to describe ”Will of the people” apart from being amazing, especially as gig opener.

I feel like people always take Muse too seriously. They're just having fun and taking ideas to extremes, no matter the genre.

It’s been an age since I’ve listened to Muse but I do love their work. Matt’s voice sounds different on this track. I don’t have a favourite album but I love a smattering of songs from each. Particular favourites include “Uprising” and “Plug in baby”. Thank you for the reaction.

Bellamy has said that Buckley is his biggest influence, so, yeah. 😄 And it's Halloween, so it NEEDs to be over the top! The most recent album, which this is off of, has a lot of twists and turns, and is very worth a listen. But mostly, and I cannot emphasize this enough, while the studio tracks from Muse are good, they are on completely another level live. Think U2 meets Pink Floyd level performances and spectacle. Seen them live twice, and both times were absolutely mindblowing.

This could have been a tremendous Halloween banger: the video is spot on, the music is fucking epic beyond belief and his voice is glorious. It's just missing something in the writing, it's a disposable pop song with world class production values.
