The Blueprint 2 was a nice diss but it was really already over. Nas never truly responded to it. Last Real Nigga Alive is just a rundown. He didn’t diss, just stated what happened. Jay was still tight off Ether. So he was trying to keep it going. I like BP2 but it just was too little too late. If he had dropped BP2 instead of SupaUgly the I think there would’ve been a serious response from Nas. But it was over and done with.

He also told everybody that he owns his publishing shares for Dead Presidents sample of his voice, but the false narrative has always been that Jay-Z didn't pay NaS, that he paid MC Serch. But Serch recently said on several interviews that NaS owns 50% of Dead Presidents Royalties, so in essence he owns a piece of Jay-Z catalogue.
