That was the best version of this christmas song. I just don't understand how it can really be possible, but Dan Vasc always outdo himself and goes beyond all expectations . I have seen the “earthquake “ phrase explained this way. There is good and evil within all of us. The phrase is “let all within us praise His Holy Name”. Even the evil within us will praise the Lord. Only Dan would imagine to illustrate it this vividly.

There's also another thing that that part tells very well. When you read in the Bible about "The Upper Room," where the disciples were supposed to wait together to see what Holy Spirit was going to do, that Jesus told them would happen, when He DID appear within the room, that same kind of thing happened. The earth shook (as it did when Jesus died on the cross, as well), and people who came running to look to see what was happening, also thought the people were DRUNK, and they were frightened, but when it was explained to them what was happening, they were glad. When you listen to the Swedish version of "O Holy Night," and get the lyrics to watch while you listen (Tommy Johannson does a REALLY good version of that version), you'll see that it's quite a bit different than our English version. It tells the story of Jesus from the night of His earthly birth, yes, but then it continues on throughout the whole story. It's awesome. That's basically what Dan did with this song. He presented it in the way it was originally written...in the POWER of the Lord Jesus Christ, who was born, lived, and died...ONCE...for ALL.

Victor the Guitar Nerd played all instruments you see. He performs with Dan on many of his videos, but not all. This was a wonderful version of this classic Christmas song that he made more powerful and triumphant. I love the standard version because it is so beautiful, but this is the one I want to listen to now. Thanks so much for your great reaction and so glad you are back. Keys, Electric Guitar, Bass...all Victor the Guitar Nerd. If you go check out HIS channel, you'll hear some really wonderful, stupendous stuff...most of which he has written by himself. There's one video called "Harmonics," which he does, in which you can actually see his face from time to time...very faintly, but it's there. He also did a Christmas song of his own, for 2023, which is quite beautiful and amazing, as well. It's a sit-down version of "Silent Night," that will knock your socks off. It's SO beautiful. Just picking a guitar in a very simple manner, but it's wonderfully exquisite. I would love to see you react to some of Victor's own stuff. He's Swedish, by the way (lives in Sweden). All of his and Dan's collabs are done in their separate studios, then mixed together. Victor also (for over a year, now) is one of the guitarists for the Swedish band, Eleine. When you watch some of their newest videos on KZbin, you'll find Victor if you watch carefully--he's the only guitarist with strawberry blonde, long, straight hair. All the others are very dark-haired.

Every Dan Vasc cover is amazing! I love the deep dark growl in this one! Check out Orion's Reign's cover of Thunderstruck by AC DC. Dan sang with this band for awhile and this cover is better than the original, in my opinion. His current band Fearless is amazing also!

YES!!! That cover is AMAZING! 😀 Fearless has been Dan's band from the beginning. His brother Davi plays bass, their friend Gabriel Belozi plays all other guitars, and their other friend Giovanni Rezende plays some utterly MEAN drums! If you look for Dan's version of "Dawn of Victory," where Fabio Lione actually visited Dan and the band in Dan's studio (which is part of his garage, made over into a wonderfully-effective studio). Fabio has been one of Dan's mentors, "forever!"
