Yes !!! Taka is amazing ! I was lucky enough to see them in Dallas House of Blues twice. It's a small venue but his voice just effortlessly filled that whole room. And on the heavy songs, that entire room was vibrating. They were amazing. It's funny cause the first time they played ON my birthday and the second time it was a week before. So I celebrated my birthday both years at their concert. 45th and 48th birthdays. I'm 53 now. 😊

I knew you wouldn't be prepared for this. The reason you're crying is because OOR knows what music is all about. It's straight from the heart, and you can really tell when they perform that they really feel it too. And trust me there will be more songs that can bring tears to your eyes. "Be the light" would be my recommendation for your next reaction. It was written in memory of the 2011 Japan earthquake and tsunami victims, but it really hits home with anyone who has experienced great tragedy in their life.

Probably the most successful Japanese artist globally, and by a mile at that. 4M+ sub count for a Rock band is pretty nuts too. They’ve worked with Ed sheeran, Linkin Park, Simple Plan, Avril Lavigne, Against the Current, 5 seconds of summer and many other International artists as well. In Japan, they’re pretty much living legends doing countrywide stadium tours with capacities of 110,000+. Their live shows are truly an experience of a whole different level. I honestly can’t praise this band enough for how much they’ve managed to achieve.

Yeeeeeeeeeei. Our favorite J-Rock band!!!! This song makes me cry every time. Taka (Takahiro) has one of the most beautiful voices. Tomoya is big in the drums. And Ryota and Toru are amazing at the basse and guitar. They have the most amazing concerts. They have been active since 2005 so they are a super mature band. I love their old stuff, it is heavier. They have tons of songs: " I was king" "Kanzen Kankaku Dreamer", "Nobody´s home", "Liar" , "Deeper deeper", "C.h.a.o.s.m.y.t.h", "Fight the night", ....... I would die to be in a concert like this in Japan. Their concerts with orchestra are beautiful and they just released an accoustic session with many of their big songs. They have 10 plus albums. One of them was launched during the pandemic. They have a documentary of the making of the online concert on Netflix. It is called "Flip a coin" it is beautiful.

OOR or "Oneokuroku" in Japanese that stands for "One o´clock" cause when they started the rent of the studio was cheaper at night. Their MV´s are strong with lot of energy but they are made for masive concerts. They made a song with Ed Sheeran for one of the Rurouni Kenshin movies (by the way, my favorite movies). I left you some songs in the coments but anything you pick live is amazing. Specially with Orchestra. I discovered them only last year and they went straight to the playlist. Their energy on stage is amazing and they sound sooooo clean live!!! They have mastered their craft.

Absolutely fantastic reaction! From your other reactions and your mentions of the bands and singers you grew up with I knew you'd love ONE OK ROCK. They are a massive band! Their music is amazing. And Taka's vocals are pretty insane; especially with how easily he switches from singing Japanese to English. The messages of their songs are all so good too. I love this version of We Are, but there's another version they did to celebrate Japan's change in age law called We Are 18 Fes. The crowd of 1000 people, made up of only 18-year olds, sang along with them (even more than this concert). That version never fails to make me tear up or cry. Not sure if you'll want to react to that one with this one having made you start tearing up, but it is a good version to check out too. Like you I fell in love with them after listening to just one song. I got introduced to them a little ass about face as I heard a song from the band MY FIRST STORY after they did the ending song for an anime called Nobunaga Concerto. Got mildly obsessed with them and then discovered that the vocalist, Hiro, was the youngest brother of the vocalist for ONE OK ROCK, Taka; and down the rabbit hole I went. The next song I'd suggest reacting to by ONE OK ROCK is Deeper Deeper. Then Stand Out Fit In, Broken Heart of Gold, Renegades (co-written with Ed Sheeran and Masato from another JRock band [Coldrain] though I haven't listened to any of their stuff yet), I Was King, The Beginning, Re:Make, Wherever You Are, Bombs Away, Hard to Love, Dreamer, The Way Back, Clock Strikes, Be the Light (a song they released for the two year anniversary of the Tohoku earthquake), Memories, Liar, Fight the Night, C.h.a.o.s.m.y.t.h. and Taka's (the vocalist) cover of Adele's Hello.

It makes me so extremely happy every time I see someone fall in love with ONE OK ROCK. They've been my favorite band for years now, and every time I go through a phase of listening to another artist, I always end up back at ONE OK ROCK. Everyone I have recommended them to has loved them and it's so amazing to see people develop the same love for them that I have. I would genuinely do ANYTHING to see them live in person. I loved seeing your reaction to We Are, and honestly I started tearing up at the same time that you did. They never ever fail to get me hyped or emotional and they always cheer me up. I would recommend all of their music, although their older albums are more rock while their newer albums are more pop/pop-rock (don't get me wrong, I am IN LOVE with every single one of them!!). If you want another song like We Are, then you should listen to one of their newer songs called Renegades, as I'm sure you have seen recommended by other people here. It's so inspiring and hard-hitting just like this one. As for albums, it's so hard to choose but my favorite album of theirs is probably Jinsei × Boku = which to me seems like a perfect mix of and transitional album between their old music and their new music. It's got rock, pop, slow songs, and it's basically a great album to start with in order to have a taste of the ONE OK ROCK experience (but you should really listen to all their songs). I hope you continue to enjoy them and I'll be waiting for more OOR reaction videos!!

I am so glad that you have found One OK Rock! They are awesome and other people have mentioned songs for you to listen to but frankly, I love all their music. And that is a lot because they have over 100 songs over 9 albums going back to 2007. Can't wait for more reactions from you.

To start with One Ok Rock pronunciation is like the time (1 o'clock). Because when they were starting out, that's their time of practice.

I screamed! Thank you so much for doing One Ok Rock and not only that but jumping straight to the live version. They are my favorite band in any language. So talented, with a variety of sounds, and great lyrics. I can't wait to watch your journey with them! Some personal favorite songs, Wherever You Are, Start Again, Be The Light, Living Dolls, C.H.A.O.S.M.Y.T.H. P.S. Taka's (the lead vocalist's) brother is also in a rock band called My First Story. Since you enjoyed his vocals, it might be worth a listen, even just on your own time since you have so many things. Their song Calling You or their cover of See You again are absolutely amazing

One OK Rock is the absolute best. Taka's voice is pure gold and one of the only bands allowed to take space on my phone. Mighty Long Fall is a good one, The Beginning, and Taking Off there are so so many good ones though.

Glad you checked out One Ok Rock! They are one of my favorite Japanese bands! I discovered them back in 2014 I believe, been a fan ever since. I have 2 of their Japanese albums and 1 blue ray disk that features their orchestra tour in Osaka, that I all bought in Japan when I visited. I hope to go to one of their tours someday, either in Japan or if they come to the U.S. again. They are probably the most well known Japanese band, worldwide. Can’t wait for you to discover more of their mesmerizing music! Taka has such an angelic voice. You should listen to Taka’s covers too! Also, if you are open to discovering some other Japanese bands and artists, try Wagakki Band, Yoasobi, and Yuuri just to name a few.

THE WAY I ALWAYS GET GOOSEBUMPS LISTENING TO THIS SONG, LIKE: I WISH I'D BE IN THAT CROUD🔥🔥 And Taka's voice is the best one I've ever heard, the whole band is just AMAZING Staning them since 2021 and I don't regret anything about that, except that it would be so nice if I just would've discovered them sooner🥲🔥
