Your instinct is right! Scaramouche theme is similar to Raiden’s theme in terms that they are both from Inazuma (Japan-inspired). And without giving away too much lore, Scaramouche is related to Raiden somehow, in a relation that’s hard to describe by common sense.

Not only is Genshin a game. It's a free 2 play game. Which means you can just download it and experience all it has to offer without ever needing to spend a cent. It's the rare case of a F2P game that actually works and people are willing to spend money not just for the characters, but because people genuinely want to support the game. It's nuts just how much you get from this game without ever needing to hand over any amount of money if you don't want.

A little bit of context to the song: the sense of confusion you had early, stating that the song is "bizzarre" is perfectly understandable because it IS bizzarre, musically speaking. You had a polirythm there, basically it's like two bands playing two songs with different tempos at the same time, because the heartbeat was out of sync with the rest. Scaramouche is the dark-haired kid, who was fusing with that robot, and that would've supposedly turned him into a god. The asian fusion drops are because Scara is born in Inazuma, and he has a close tie with the Raiden Shogun. And yes, the stakes in that boss fight were quite high. As for the next react, I highly suggest Azdaha all phases.

YES!!!! FINALLY!!!! This is literally my FAVORITE soundtrack in the whole game and that says a lot considering the amazing competition it has. By the way, Scaramouche is not the giant mecha, Scaramouche is the character that's inside and piloting it, he's the one we're fighting since he has connected himself to the mech and controls it like it's his own body. Also I love how you noticed that he looks like Raiden.... let's say... there might be a connection there... play the game to find out!!

If you want an insane statistic about Genshin musics : there are currently more than 700 musics in the game and it almost reaches 800 if you count the trailers music that aren't in game. Genshin in 3 years old soonand the game had around 200 musics at launch, so that means the HoYoMiX music team releases around 200 musics a year just for Genshin. 200 musics in 365 days, and with this quality, that's actually insane.

The dialogue between Scaramouche and the choir is like a conversation between himself to know if he made the right decision or not. Also represented in the demonic voice. Slight spoiler, but also just an insane correlation. The guy piloting this boss is Scaramouche, where the mech has many names. The playable version of Scara, Wanderer, uses the same theme as the final part of this fight. The melody of the Japanese instrumental is the same melody that is played in the Wanderer demo, but there it is very lost and melancholic, where here it goes from somber to aggressive. And slightly larger spoiler... If you want to know Scara's lore, listen to Bohemian Rhapsody.... that's not a joke.

Undertale is like THE WORST game to play live. The backseating ruins the experience, its a lovely game, but its much more suited for a prerecorded lets play that maybe only has some pointers from a friend to move in a certain direction if the player so desires (as the game revolves heavily around choices)

The only suggestion I have about it is to (before starting) look up how to play a Pacifist run (because it’s not straight forward like it would be in other games and you won’t instinctually figure out how to do it without someone just telling you, and it’s usually the preferred ending). But outside of that, it’s best experienced on your own (or with a friend who can give respectful advice/support only when solicited). I would not live stream it where other people can backseat.

Undertale would have to be my recommendation for your stream, since you've asked if you should play it, and since Undertale is not as long as the other games you've been wondering about (it's like 7ish hours in total). I will say though, the only thing you need to know about Undertale is its official description of "A traditional role-playing game where no one has to get hurt", (which is very important to bear in mind). But be wary of anyone saying anything more specific than that, especially if you are streaming it.

THE MOMENT HAS ARRIVED Make way for the Best Boss Battle Theme in the entire game!! Don't get me wrong, every OST in Genshin Impact is a masterpiece, but Scaramouche's has won me with the singing. I really hope you start playing Genshin. I personally think it's better than Honkai Star Rail, but it depends on what type of games you're into. Anyways, Genshin is just so beautiful, both in terms of the music and the ever growing world. The story is also hands down the best I've seen in a game before, though it didn't blow me away until I got to the Chasm's story. You can basically tell how much Hoyoverse (The company that created Genshin) has improved over the years. The story is just getting better and better. I have high expectations for the new region that is coming soon which is called Fontaine. It would be cool if you reacted to that teaser called: Overture Teaser: The Final Feast, though you might not quite get what is going on surrounding the new villain. Anyways, great video!

The very first part of this song is more of an encounter theme for Scaramouche (who is the person in the mech). To me the first phase feels like it is about the mech while the second phase is about Scaramouche as a person and the transformation phase is the transition between the two

Not only is it from a game, it's from a free to play game. I think the music is what blows the mind of most people cause yeah, it's pretty insane. Just to throw something out there, Scaramouche's backstory, without spoilers, have him in multiple regions, so if there's hints of different cultures in his music, that's probably why it stands out. Also, in the last phase, with the second drop, you'll notice it goes harder than the first. There's reasons behind this. There's SO much meaning and symbolism in this song that it's insane. The whole song, all phases, just tells Scaramouche's story. When you go through his story and lore, I recommend returning to this and really breaking it down to what you discovered. You'll appreciate the music and composer even more.

yes!! glad you may have noticed some connections between characters lol. a bit spolier here maybe, Scaramouche, as well as La Signora, are Fatui harbingers' codenames, Scaramouche actually is the guy in the giant robot, he is also related to Raiden Shogun, you can tell those relations from the design, and also from those motifs in the music that it has some identical elements from both La Signora theme and Raiden theme. To me, persona 5, genshin and honkai star rail are equally great, it's nice seeing you play either of them on twitch.

Before this fight, Azdaha battle theme was my favorite, but then this theme comes and... well I fell in love, especially when I learned that the main voice singing was Scaramouche's chinese VA. And yes, there are a live action for this song, but I still prefer the original version because, for me, the voice of the original just fit the story behind the song more than the singer in the live action (even when it gave goosebumps). I recomended Port Ormos day theme the other day, and today I want to recomend you another ost for a place called eternal oasis, is a very emotional theme (especially when you know the story of this place), its name is "Her wishes / oracle of the void (eternal oasis)". When I reach this place I just stand there listening to the music.

It's important to note that Yu-Peng Chen is both the main composer of the Genshin Impact's soundtrack and the singer in this one (think of it as duet between the choir and the man the myth the legend himself). Genshin may have it's pros and cons, but it's soundtrack is something I will never forget about. I'm glad I was playing since 1.0 version and was able to experience it all and build so many unforgetful memories around it. Thank you HoYoverse, HoYo-mix and Yu-Peng Chen.

this battle theme isn't my favorite, but technically speaking it's definitely one of the most mind-boggling. the genre-bending and fusing alone is definitely one of the most striking. unfortunately the first time i fought this boss while still introduced during the storyline i was too busy running around being beat up and yelling about being beat up, but when i finally got to sit and really listen to this, i could finally appreciate how good it is. and also yes. genshin's gameplay and animation is pretty, but i'm sure the music department gets, like, at least 60% of the funds. the soundtracks are crazy good. i would love for you to reach to azhdaha's boss theme, that one's plenty bonkers too with epic chinese choir thrown into the mix.

why this song is the absolute best: the inazuma parts are because scaramouche is originally from inazuma, the organ is because you're fighting a god, god church orgen. and the lyrics tell scaramouche's story.

Scaramouche is in a mech, in his boss fight and his theme has three parts too it, the first one is called: Ominous Fandango then the first phase, then the second phase which is the Second part/last to his boss battle theme.

the craziest fact is the soloist in this track is THE yu-peng chen himself, THE composer behind all genshin osts (up until sumeru since he left when fontaine was online, sadly)

Related to star rail and genshin is honkai impact, which you probably (or might not, not enough time to scroll through multiple videos right now) have already done at least one reaction too. I can’t remember. In any case, I would suggest some of the stuff for that, such as the version trailers or maybe some of the osts, since they’re pretty short. Would say cinematics/animations, but those might be too spoilery

I about end of December or start of January, Genshin will very likely get another boss on similar lever as Scaramouche. Which would mean another epic banger of a music is to be espected. On way to there? I suppose other 10/10 ost's will have to do before 11/10.
