great reaction! I took the “manifest a ceiling when you shy away” line to mean that when you “shy away” from reaching for your goals, you’re setting limits. Like how when people say “the sky’s the limit”, a ceiling would be a barrier to that. Fun to see all the different interpretations!

The next album is Scaled and Icy - which is an anagram for “Clancy is Dead” - but I think it’s also going to relate to the dragon (which we still don’t know what that represents) - the logo is the Greek letter for Psi which means something like the psyche of your mind - it also would be spelled Sai, which is a weapon that looks the exact same way (what Raphael used), also SAI = Scaled and Icy The backstory about his brother is right, he said he wanted to show his brother how to do a track from beginning to end - so he really created it in front of his brother as a learning experience for him - i would imagine it will take on some sort of double meaning though as we learn more about this era The real question is what is going on in the background of this video - who’s he talking to on the phone? What is the significance of the dragon? Are they in Dema? Why does it all come crumbling down at the end? What’s going on with all the slow motion stuff floating in the air? You even see a car tire floating through - I would imagine at some point the hair is going to go - I would think part of the reason it’s grown out is for some sort of representation for this album Also, it sounds like they’re hinting at another single dropping Friday afternoon…if that’s true, hopefully it explains some of the visuals on this video - it will all tie together eventually

So, at the Warner Music website, under their songs listings.. originally this song title was ""Shy Away - DEMA presents twenty one pilots""... then they changed the title to ""shy away - one more sleep banditos""... then they changed it to ""Clancy is alive - Tyler Joseph"" and then finally changed it to the true title ""shy away"".

In the christmas song image they sneeked "Sai is propaganda" (Scaled And Icy). Inside the lore, I think they're being forced to sing this, the message of "you can do everything, go for it" it's not usually the type of message twenty one pilots gives. Even at th start of the clip you can see how Tyler is not excited for singing. I think this album will change many things, with the excuse of the lore, the bishops are forcing Josh and Tyler to sing what they want.

This is what I'm going for. I'm not buying into half the proposed lore. I think this is primarily a break from Dema story. Yes i know, Dema org production, etc, Clancy is dead, Sai is propaganda (only meaning Psi is the logo). But that's it -I think it's just to say this is a break. They flipped everything upside down. Swapped places for photos. And added an ice dragon just because Josh thought it would be a cool addition for the drum kit. GoT influenced. Why not? They just rendered it blue because CGI is too much.

It also means revealing ur true self. In the one scene with the pay phone Tyler is calling Nigel the guy from the LOC livestream that is how people are indoctrinated into dema (at least that’s what I think) The song itself seems to be about Clancy or (it’s tylers brother XD) “When I get home Boy, you better not be there”. I have a simultaneously silly and serious theory... about The Hair™!! Specifically, those two little Princess Leia wannabe blobs! In all seriousness, though, consider the following. Tyler has a newborn/year old toddler too young to be vaccinated against Covid. Even if he could go out and get a haircut, lots of folks famous and not are waiting and growing it all out. For all we know Rosie loves it, too! Until or unless he says anything about it there's of course no way to know for sure. Maybe it's just another way to reinforce the idea of throwing one's modesty by the wayside and not caring what anyone thinks, but I think that's going in way too deep. It wouldn't surprise me for a second if it was just so that his daughter could giggle at daddy when she sees him on the TV screen! LOL Anyway, so glad you reacted to this. Waiting for the rest of the album to drop on May 21st is going to feel like an eternity!

The logo is a weapon called sai which are initials for "scaled and icy"... and recall in LEVEL OF CONCERN video tyler put his fingers to his face one finger on each side of his nose making the 3 lines. And in christmas video a wrapped present said "Clancy" AND MORE IMPORTANTLY hard to see but on that wrapping paper in highlighter pen written ""Sai is propaganda".. so album and 5-21 livestream are propoganda for Dema. I noticed that at the very first scene, Tyler looks towards the symbol, the scene cuts, and just shows Tyler thinking, excluding the symbol on the wall. I think it represents hope, power, and motivation, as from there, it kick-starts him into singing the song.

If you have seen the new album cover it’s completely different to all the other ones it’s more bright and I I don’t why but first I was thinkin like is it supposed to be misleading or kinda like propaganda as in is Dema or Blurryface forcing Tyler to make it seem like everything is okay and that it’s all fine and to lure people in....but now I have a lot of other thoughts so I’m not 100% sure at this moment

SAI IS PROPAGANDA FROM DEMA they are stuck in DEMA. This hole album is produced by Dema. In one of the scenes we see a statue behind them (near the gas station) that is identical to the statue that appears in nico and the niners. The dragon seems to be a kind of guardian. Clearly tyler is not happy and is being manipulated in the video. Let's see what the next video will bring.
