Hey bro! (re-pasting this from the previous video) I'm back to provide some in-universe context for this right here: essentially, the new album 'Scaled And Icy' out May 21st is an anagram of 'Clancy is Dead'. Clancy was one of the main characters in the Trench storyline, and he had an entire website with his notes about Dema (totalitarian government) and the world outside. Clancy may or may not be dead - Dema may be making us think that as a scare tactic. Anyway, through some elaborate cryptic shit (as is usual with our boys) we've found out that the boys are being held captive by Dema and the bishops, and being forced to produce music as propaganda. So this album, in-universe, isn't properly written by them (but it still includes their messages - they won't be silenced). This whole thing could well be a giant metaphor for the pressures of music industry. I'd also like to point out that blue means defeat in the world of Trench, and that's the main colour for this album - they've been captured. Also note all the neon, which the bishops worship. Basically: we're still in the Trench storyline.

So, at the Warner Music website, under their songs listings.. originally this song title was ""Shy Away - DEMA presents twenty one pilots""... then they changed the title to ""shy away - one more sleep banditos""... then they changed it to ""Clancy is alive - Tyler Joseph"" and then finally changed it to the true title ""shy away"".

The end when it gets heavier with the instrumentality and his background vocals just puts it over the top. Plus a great message- go out into the world and make your own destiny. The logo is a weapon called sai which are initials for "scaled and icy"... and recall in LEVEL OF CONCERN video tyler put his fingers to his face one finger on each side of his nose making the 3 lines. And in christmas video a wrapped present said "Clancy" AND MORE IMPORTANTLY hard to see but on that wrapping paper in highlighter pen written ""Sai is propaganda".. so album and 5-21 livestream are propoganda for Dema. So logo is not east up because eastup sign is straight. #2 can't be coincidence that sai happens to be initials of album name.

I was waiting to see when your review was going to post.! I was kind of afraid that I wouldn't like the new sound. Anytime a new album comes out by a band I like who isn't afraid to explore music, I always worry that the new sound will ruin it for me and I love them so much! This did not ruin anything. For a while I didn't like the direction Pearl Jam went, and I really liked most of their music for a long time. So that made me sad. I'm so excited though. And we'll all get to watch it unfold together!!! (I had to edit this because I guess I need my glasses to type!)

i don't know if this has ANY relevance to anything, but today i realized the release dates of level of concern, christmas saves the year and shy away go 9-8-7 in order (level of concern 9 april, csty 8 december, shy away 7 april) so if we get a new single on the 6th of may or something this is most definitely a pattern they're taking. i've already looked into release dates before level of concern and those don't match up

So, bishops (the incarnation of our worries and insecurities) cant see yellow. That's why banditos use yellow to differentiate and show themselves. And if you take yellow out of the color scheme, the colors that are left match he vibe of the song and the album almost 100%. Which shows that SaI (Scaled and Icy) is propaganda (as the cover of "Christmas saves the year" implied) and the bishops are trying to control us. The bishops also practice vialism, which is the religion of worshiping neon lights and the craving for suicide as a goal (that's veeery bad described, but itll do the job). If you look at it, everything is neon, but when Tyler is on the phone the phone is yellow, indicating that Tyler might be calling for help. What's also interesting is that when they start singing, they're both kinda calm and seem sad, but as Tyler sings and Josh plays, they get more alive. That's where the color scheme starts to chang eto more colors. Then you see the SaI logo pop up and Tyler gets mad. This maybe indicates that dema is trying to suppress them again, but Tyler wont have it, so he gets mad and continues singing. That's where the lights on top start to shine in all colours. Perhaps tyler is coming back to his senses and is feeling free again. Producing the colors. At the end tho, everything breaks down and I am not sure what it may mean. Perhaps the help tyler called for arrived and they're free, or the bishops are destroying their world so they can get the power back over Tyler and Josh. The dema world is so cryptic and crazy, I love it!

Do you have an insider look into Tyler’s writing sessions? You decipher their lyrics perfectly. I don’t know what your background is but I’m impressed. Also, I feel you are a genuine fan and really want to understand their messages. Blue and pink lights were introduced to us at the Bsnditø concerts. Josh Dun is my favorite drummer, Tyler is a genius, and there are so many Easter eggs in this video. It’s going to be a fun ride!
