They mixed reggae, punk rock, surf rock, hip hop, ska...they blended so many different genres of music to the point that some songs seem as if they're a completely different band than others. Tim and Fred: Today is my Twins B-day. They turned 29, and a couple of years ago, I suggested they do just what you are doing right now. You can see they didn't take my advise. LOL. But, I am one of the many fans who just admire how you are handling these times, both in the world and in your own lives. I feel so proud of what you have accomplished, and also what your younger brother is doing as well. Thanks for being a beacon of light, at a time when so many are having difficult times. Much Love. Sublimes lead singer was Bradley Nowell, the band was from Southern California that started in the late 80s but didnt really break through till a few years into the 90s. Bradley sadly passed away from an overdose at way too young an age. He was a once in a generation type or artist and the world is better place having his art in it. They wrote a song about the Rodney King riots called April 29, 1992 that I think you all should check out if your vibing on this song. I think it is even on the same album. This whole album is actually a really good showcase of their diverse style. From Jailhouse to Caress Me Down theres such a range and they are still recognizably themselves throughout.

Sublime is completely.. sublime honestly. They go back to my days in the Navy. I’ve listened to them my entire adulthood and raised my children listening. Sublime is the family groove. They were a 90s band. They have several songs concerning the riots in LA in 92. I think they were from there. Unfortunately Bradly the the lead vocalist passed away from a drug overdose. He was only around 30 I’m not certain. Sublime will always be played like a rhythm throughout life. They had the groove.

Sublime was a local band from here in Southern California back in the 90’s. They are a ska-punk influence band from Long Beach and started around 1988. They in the midst of the LBC culture, right there along with Snoop Dogg’s at the Height of his Crew’s Fame. This was the Big Time for Long Beach. Sublime became a hit, obviously, and became sort of a token member of the LBC. They did have some gang affiliation and got into some trouble along the way, but being a successful band kind of puts the damper on all of that. Also, the guys were getting older and having families. The lead singer and guitarist, Brad Nowell, had a baby boy with his girlfriend and they later married. Unfortunately, only about a week after his marriage, he overdosed on heroine and died. Their self-titled album released after his death and became their highest selling album. The band disbanded after his death, but Sublime remains popular to this day.

Sublime was a band from Long Beach California and they were around from 1988 through 1996. The lead singer Bradley who has one of the most soulful voices in music history unfortunately overdosed while relapsing on heroin prior to the band's main record, the 1 you're listening to being released. He never got to see the fame his band would 1 day achieve. It's actually quite a sad story. Brad's influences were from the caribbeans and and he was also bi lingual just from growing up in California so he is a lot of songs with Spanish lyrics I highly highly recommend you check out all their music sublime is one of those bands that crosses all barriers
