I’d love if you checked out The Beatles - I Want To Hold Your Hand. it’s their big hit from 1964 that made them huge in America and allowed them to start pretty much owning the billboard top 10 singles/albums charts for 6 more years before splitting off and doing solo work. It’s closer to that early Motown/ rock sound you were mentioning at the beginning. Also would suggest my personal favourite songs Girl, Revolution, Strawberry Fields Forever, Help!, Taxman, Something, Hello Goodbye, Rocky Raccoon, Obladi oblada, Hey Jude, Paperback Writer and Rain. So many great songs to choose from you can’t go wrong.

John was murdered in 1980 and George passed away in 2001 with cancer. Ringo and Paul are still here with us and they both still tour with their own bands.

One thing you need to understand about the Beatles is that they revolutionised music and made it what it is today. Many don’t appreciate them anymore but they single-handedly brought songwriting, packaging, recording techniques and various styles of music into the contemporary world. Nearly everything we listen to nowadays is because of them. They’re phenomenal

Regarding their health - Paul McCartney on bas and Ringo Starr on drums are still alive. George Harrison on guitar died of cancer in 2001, John Lennon on guitar/vocals was killed in 1980 and Billy Preston on the organ passed away in 2006.

I’m from Liverpool the same as the Beatles and I remember in primary school we went to visit their houses because they’re tourist attractions! Also there’s so many more better songs from the Beatles such as penny lane, yellow submarine, yesterday, imagine hey Jude , here comes the sun, let it be, I want to hold your hand, twist and shout etc

“Better” is subjective. Ask random Beatles fans their favourite album and you’ll get different answers from all of them. (Personally I’m tied between Rubber Soul & Revolver depending on the day) This song is top 10 for me currently as of my last binge through their catalog. But I definitely approve listening to any and all Beatles save Demo’s/cut songs and Anthology mixes, perhaps Revolution 9 for the plebs sake.

Very cold and windy January morning in London 1969. John and Ringo were wearing their wives coats! The police were there because of noise complaints. The last live performance of the band and of course the last concert; their first since they stopped touring back in the mid-60’s. As you listen more, you will soon realise why they are the greatest band of all-time. Just not what they accomplished musical, but culturally and socially.

John, Paul, George, and Ringo, with Billy Preston on keyboards. The Beatles recorded over 200 songs from 1964-1970. Almost all of them are great. They are the GOAT.

Nice reaction. That was the last time they performed to the public, an unannounced 40+ minute show in January 1969 on the roof of their office building in London. Police shut them down due to a noise complaint. The Beatles provide a very deep rabbit hole of many genres and great hits. They wrote 230+ songs in their 7 or 8 years releasing music and no musical group is even close to selling as much as they did. They broke up in April 1970.

The most influential band in rock history...they could all sing..when they came out in the early1960s they created a new sound and influenced many bands that came afterwards (there are video on this)...they also influenced fashion and were at the head of the counter culture (react to their song, live on a TV show to REVOLUTION)... Btw The Beatles names are: John Lennon (one with glasses), Paul McCartney (the one in the suit and beard), George Harrison (mustache and black coat) and the drummer Ringo Starr (red raincoat). Paul McCartney and Ringo are still alive and making music, Paul’s solo career I would highly recommend! John Lennon was shot and killed in 1980, George Harrison died from cancer in 2001.

He wasn't saying dumped him good.he is saying "she done me good" the organ player was Billy Preston. He was sometimes called the 5th Beatle. Should check out some of his stuff. People now days have know idea how big the Beatles was. They was only together as a hit band about 7 years they say they broke up in 1970 but really john left in 1968. But in there 7 years the recorded around 210 songs. To this day new recording are being found. Artists today only make 1 album every year or so with a army of writers and producers. But the Beatles it was mostly the best collaborators in history Lennon and McCartney. Yeah beautiful lady please do some more Beatles. You just did there last together. Try maybe there first hit.."I Want to Hold Your Hand.”

I started watching you when you started your Taylor Swift journey! Taylor and The Beatles are my top two favorite groups/artists of all time! I even took a study abroad trip to England for a college class that was just about The Beatles. Both of the guys in the big fur coats have died (the brown coat guy is John Lennon, he was murdered in 1980. The black coat guy is George Harrison, he died from cancer in 2001). The main singer on this track you mentioned is Paul McCartney (he is my favorite and has recently been buddies with Taylor which makes me geeked lol) and the drummer is Ringo Starr! This was their last live performance before breaking up and it was absolutely freezing! They went up to the roof of their recording studio on a whim after having not performed live in 3 years. Based on your music taste I really think you’d love their Abbey Road album or their self titled album (more commonly known as The White Album).

Perhaps you should check out their later careers too. Bassist Paul McCartney (sorry, SIR Paul McCartney) had an album out recently, for instance. He's made a few since then...

John Lennon did have a decent range and great tone to his voice, but Paul McCartney (guy standing to his left with the beard) had an even bigger range, 4 octaves. Could sing pretty much anything.

John had more pathos to his voice. His voice was more haunting. It reminds me of the Billie Holiday vs. Ella Fitzgerald debate. Ella had more range, but Billie's voice struck a Deeper chord emotionally. Also, John was a better songwriter.

Do some research on them google or wikipedia then check out their songs .There are over 200 beatles songs and only a few are weak imo. This is a big topic and a deep rabbit hole to dive into.
