This is a perfect example of judging the book by its cover. The entire reaction was based on the title: The best singer in the world!”. How can you react to a subject when you didn’t even bother learning how the subject’s name is pronounced? the background of the singer, the origin of the song, what the lyrics of the song is about, what kind of emotion is needed to perform the song, I mean should I really go on further? You picked up a book and read it’s title. Didn’t even bother reading the content. Yet all of a sudden you’re better than the author. You prefer more upbeat and faster songs. This song was originally written for a musical and arranged specifically for Regine to be interpreted as a ballad so why would you expect a fast beat song? If you did your research before opening your mouth, then you’ll probably have a more effective and educated criticism.

When she covers a song, it looks like it becomes a new masterpiece. She even make it harder and make the level of difficulty higher through her vocal stamina without compromising the beauty of the piece. Thus all of the singers now a days have influenced regine in terms of attacking a certain song. They used regine style at some point. And was very evident. They always used Regines song for a singing competition.

I will respect your opinion because some said Whitney Houston is the best, then some said no and it’s Mariah and some said no it’s Celine Dion and same with Regine haha it’s funny but we have different opinions and have our own special singer in our hearts. I think Regine is NOT the best of ALL but she’s ONE of the BEST live performer in the world FOR ME. They offered earlier for her international recording but she don’t want to leave Philippines specially her family and fans. So for me she’s more than enough as an INTERNATIONAL singer and the FIRST BEST SINGER EVER in the Philippines on her prime and now she’s getting old but still have the voice to beat and still performing LIVE and not do the lipsync (like my idol Mariah) with powerful belting and we have another Morissette, and we again assuming that she’s also one of the best live performer in the world aside from your singers and we have them as one of the best in this world. I don’t know someday who’s next after Morissette and Katrina. Just have some respect too to the filipino netizens if they are assuming because that’s what they really feels and that’s their opinion and priceless experiences of Regines sweet and powerful performances because once you hear her sing live it’s very intense, breathtaking, unbelievable and unforgetable moment. Same as you, we will respect your favorite singer in the whole world aside from our singer here in Philippines. You know we are very proud of having Regine Velasquez in the Philippines for 3 decades. I mean if we say or include in our vlog that Mariah is not the best live performer or even Whitney and Celine maybe that’s hurting too right? This is just a glimpse of Regine’s vocal prowess. In terms of level of difficulty, there are things that regine can do that nobody can in terms of techniques and emotive interpretation. her body of work is far better from other filipino artists and the likes.
