Hey Tim! I'm a native Washingtonian; so, I'm really loving this! The Blackbyrds were from D.C. and spent a lot of time in and around the park. So, this was their ode to "Rock Creek Park". When this song came out in 1975, my friends and I heard it regularly on radio AND blasting from the radio of every car that drove by us. "Doing it in the park, doing it after dark, oh yeah, Rock Creek Park, oh yeah, Rock Creek Park!" This was a summer anthem in D.C. 😃👍🏽❤ #NortheastDCGirl #BornAndRaised
