Macau looked interesting and the Portugese vibe and presence was obvious. This trip has been one of your best for watchers like me, Macau and Hong Kong very impressive. The Octopus card is similar to the Oyster card in London, very efficient and easy to use. Thanks for these videos most enjoyable.

Yayy I miss Hong Kong. The transportation is awesome. You can even travel to other nearby cities in one day. You guys try Shenzhen next time. I worked in Hong Kong from 2017 until Dce 2023, and now I'm staying in the Philippines for good.

Tom and Lay you should go to Taipei Taiwan from Hong Kong. . Two days there and you can see all the sites including Taipei 101 and the shopping area around there. I lived in Taipei for three years and think both of you would like it. 😀

I have just watched this and your Hong Kong video. I visited both in 2009 and am so pleased that neither has changed. Thank you for helping me to relive some memories. I enjoyed the area with the tall flats which was multi-cultural. I first stayed on Nathan Road but moved to better accommodation in Wan Chai but the day trip to Macau was awesome.

I last visited Macau before Covid and thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The egg custard tarts as you call them are very famous in Macau as they are of Portugese origin. The Macau Tower is worth a visit and the Casino area is huge with many Casinos.

I watched your ferry ride to Macao and I noticed you travelling under Neath a bridge and I'm certain that the bridge was still under construction my first time in Hong Kong airport in early March 2017 n when I returned in December 2017, bridge was open to traffic. Construction there moves swiftly Tom and Lay. More n more high rise construction of high rise apartments non stop

Hi Tom and Lay,,the reason it's so easy to cross from Hong Kong to Macau is the fack they are both part of China. The only reason there are nominal borders is because of provisions in the handover agreements with Portugal and the Brits,,respectively. I think those rules last 100 years,,for H.K. the handover was 96,,dont know about Macau. At least that's the way I understood it. Hey,,,trip to Portugal! It's way less expensive than Spain. 😁
