You did a great reaction. But like others said age is a big deal. Also Jin being WWH (WORLD WIDE HANDSOME) He didn't cone up with it Army called that and he just stuck using it as a joke. They are equally all handsome. Every so g they sang is amazing. To react to all it would be great and take along time. They debuted in 2013 and still active but taking break to do some solo stuff. You mentioned that they didn't list Rock in the genres they have done but JHope has just release a knew solo album Jack In the Box. It has Rock. Check it out also he was at Lallapalooza in Chicago US and headlined it. Had 105,000 in attendance and his live show rocked. BTS throws the best live Concerts but damn JHope put it all out there. I am OT7 they all are wonderful and unique in their own ways their voices as well. Again great reaction.

great reaction, just a quick note though, 1) they weren’t youtubers, their variety shows aren't on youtube (except for the last episode but that's a new development) but on an app called vlive (new ones are on weverse) 2) age is a big deal on most parts of asia, korea included so yeah, even though their age difference doesn't seem like much for them it is, that's why jin being so laid back with it it's important 3) someone not being fluent in a language doesn't mean they can't speak it or understand it, it literally just means that they don't have the fluency of a native speaker

Just to clarify about Jungkook's age when he said he joined at 15 he joined at 13. Korean age is different than international age... you are 1 when you are born and every new year so on January 1st everyone gains 1 year.. so everytime they mention an age you can do minus -2. For example V was born on December 30th,1995 so he was 1 and then on January 1st 1996 he turned 2. So he was 2 years old Korean age but 3 DAYS old international age. They actually recently decided to only keep international age in Korea and stop with the Korean age system but I guess it's gonna take a bit of time for Koreans to adjust.

If you want to speak during a BTS reaction (which we love), then it’s cool to pause what you are watching - some Army can get upset if you talk over the video you are watching, and they also get upset if they think you are missing out on what is on screen or being said on the video…🤷‍♂️😂 But you should do whatever you like to do, we are here, and your channel will grow, because you are authentic and real. Every K-pop groups has their own fandom name.. Blackpink = Blinks, Straykids = Stay, Twice = ONCE, BTS = ARMY, etc.. For BTS (BangTan Seonyondan), the fandom name is ARMY which mean Adorable Representative M.C for Youth.. Age is very important in Asia.. In Korea, Korean males who are older need to be address as hyung (older brother)..Eventhough they only have one or two year difference, they still need to address him as a hyung.. thats why you see RM call Jin hyung.. In K-pop, it's not a new thing for members to have their own solo songs while they are in a group.. Every BTS members have their own solo songs and they are helping each other while doing it.. Hello from Mexico. The MMAs are similar to the Grammys in Korea and the MAMAs in Asia. The daesang are the main awards, these two installments have 4. BTS was the first group outside of the Big3 to win a daesang in both installments and to take all 4 in a single night in both. In the case of That That, Suga only wanted to produce a song for Psy, he sent him the instrumental proposal and then they met; together they made the lyrics, in the end Suga was convinced by Psy to rap, appear in the MV and dance. In the case of BTS, the 7 were born with many artistic and personal talents, which they have developed and perfected during their training and career. In diverse comments from Bang PD, he has shown that's always looking for natural talent, it isn't necessary that they have already developed it (that is what training is for); It's not about creating idols but about developing artists with talent and passion so that they really connect with people. In BTS he brought together 7 voices with different types, registers, tonalities and ranges with their own styles. Which also makes it a different group. The strict Korean beauty standards were already mentioned to you, companies usually select as trainees those who meet or come close to them, even operate their artists. Big Hit didn't force them to undergo surgery, at first the rappers were heavily criticized for being far from those standards. BTS is a family. They joined the company at different years (international age): RM (16), Suga (17), and J-Hope (16) in 2010; Jin (18), Jungkook (13) and V (15) in 2011; Jimin (16) at the beginning of 2012. Since they weren't from Seoul, they all left their homes and went to live in the company's dormitory (at first with many trainees, already selected to debut they were sent to a small apartment). So most of them graduated from high school already there, Jungkook had it since middle school.

Concerning Jungkook, when he says he was 15 upon joining, that was his 'Korean age'. In the remainder of the world, he would've been 13 years old. You can Google how ages were calculated in Korea (apparently, you were considered to be 1 year old the day you were born). It's my understanding that Korea has recentlly adopted the 'international age' method, to match the rest of the world.

Hi from Tennessee in the US! I think your English is really good. I applaud you for learning any language beyond your primary one. I’ll echo what others have said; it’s never a problem for you to pause when you need more time or want to comment. We ARMYs respect those who genuinely want to learn about BTS. We don’t want you to miss information that’s crucial to your understanding of the group and/or individual members. We want others to love them and their messages to the world. Also, when the members are stating their ages, they are giving Korean age, not international age. There can be 1 or 2 years difference. For instance, Jungkook (JK) was 13 yrs when he joined Big Hit and 15 yrs when BTS debuted. One last thing, at the beginning of the video you said you like rock music. Here are some suggestions on songs that are in that lane. “Danger” music video, “Run BTS” (released June 2022) lyric video, “More” by j-hope music video, “Fake Love” music video (there’s also a rock version in addition to the official version). There are so many songs; over 300 when you add in solo projects, cover songs, OSTs (Opening Sound Tracks) etc. Some of my favorites are: “Heartbeat”, “Come Back Home”, “Airplane 2”, “On - Kinetic Manifesto Film”, “I Need You”, “Black Swan”, “Idol”. All of these have official music videos. One last thing, BTS is known for their incredible lyricism. Most of their songs have deep meaning, therefore, many have explanation videos. DKDK TV, Bookish Theories and xCeleste are probably the top three You Tube channels for this. Also, doolsetbangtan.wordpress.com/ (referred to as Doolset) is like Genius Lyrics except it’s just for BTS. It’s a great way to fully understand a song and get the Korean cultural contexts. One last tip…consider doing both a music video or a lyric video and combine it with a live performance. They are the kings of live performances! As Jimin would say, “You nice, keep going”. Have fun!

Hi from canada. First iff feel free to pause the video if you need to. Also the genres she mentioned are only a few of them. They have over 300 songs in their discography and half the time they take their original song and mix it into a new style like rock plus during their concerts they almost always have a live band playing for then or they make a remix of the song to make it even more entertaining. Also as an Army i believe many other armies can agree that u are totally forgivrn for pronounciation. I love that your trying to pronounce the korean words especially with your own accent. I enjoy your reaction. I just want you to know that there's "Extraordinary" thing about the KOREAN age system. If Koreans tell you about their ages, you have to deduct 2 years from what they are saying. When it says Jungkook was 15, it means he was 13 years old in your own age system . Let me explain why. In Korea, on the day when a baby is born, the baby is 1 year old cuz they count the age in the fetus(foetus). Then on January 1, all Koreans get 1 year older. For example, when your baby is born on 31 December, the very next day (New Year's Day) it gets 2 years old, even though it was born 1 day ago. ( even born at 23:59:59' on 31 Dec, only 1 second ago) So when two babies were born on 1 Jan 2021 and on 31 Dec 2021, both of them are equally 2 years old on 1 Jan 2022. Soooooo, you should deduct 1 or 2 years from their ages. This is "Extraordinary" traditional Korean age system. Of course, they also have the official/legal age system that is exactly the same as the international age system.

En fait quand jungkook dit qu'il a rejoint le groupe à 15 ans il s'exprime avec l'age coréen qui n'est pas le même que l'age international. En gros les coréens ont déjà 1 an à la naissance et leur âge ne change pas à leur anniversaire mais tous les 1 janvier. Donc suivant à quel moment de l'année ils sont nés tu enlèves un ou deux ans à l'age qu'ils donnent. Dans le cas de jungkook qui est né le premier septembre quand il dit 15 ans en âge "global" il avait 13 ans.

hi i really liked your react i just wanted to tell you some things you said in the video, jin being considered the most handsome of the group at the time of their debut is because of the korean standard that may seem silly but there in korea they take it very seriously and most people who are considered beautiful there have to follow this pattern like having a thin chin, small nose and several others, the jin in the group is the one that most follows this pattern in korea and that's also why he is the look of the group which is a position that every kpop group has and is something super important, even with this position and this korean standard does not mean that other boys are not considered handsome, v himself was considered the most beautiful man in the world a couple of times, another thing I wanted to talk about is the age of korea, there is something very strict about this age thing that even if the person is only a year older you have to speak respectfully and do everything he asks because there be older than another person is almost like being superior to them, that's why most koreans make friends with people their age so they can speak normally, this age issue is also a big reason why older people in korea are more careful with younger ones because they feel like they have to take care of the younger ones

I recommend you watch the documentary (21+ chapters) The Rise Of Bangtan, it is made by an ARMY, Aneesa. It tells the story and growth of BTS since they debuted. In addition, it also has presentations and music in case you like one and want to react to it. Love u reaction, it not was boring at all.

Your English is great, anyway 🤷‍♂️ When you said “French”, I made the silly jump to France, where I have gone on holiday a few times, and was confused as to why your English had an American accent - didn’t think you might be a Quebecois (I should have thought of your channel name) - apologies 🙏 There are official titles within groups in KPop, so being the leader is a formal position (although it’s not paid 😂), they also have titles like main dancer, lead singer, sub-rapper etc, and often, more than one of these titles will apply, or more than one person has the same title BTS English songs are very recent, and most of their discography (which is HUGE) is in Korean, with occasional English words or phrases. Jungkook was actually 13 when he joined BigHit, and 15 at their debut in 2013, he really was a baby! And yes, he just had his 24th birthday on 1st September, and the eldest, Jin, will be 30 in December - the age range is 5 years, from eldest to youngest. So the group started forming in 2010, and the final member joined in 2012 (Jimin ). They made their professional debut in June 2013, so they have been on the worlds stage for over 9 years - that’s why they aren’t kids anymore 😂😂 In korea, they count age slightly differently, so they will often say they’re are one or even two years older than we would count it in the West. And they also follow the American way of schooling, with elementary school, middle school, and high school (I think high school is what I would call grade 9, 10, 11, and 12; and for me high school is grade 8-12, and primary school is grade R - reception, plus grade 1-7). We all have different ideas about who is the most handsome, and/or which member we like the most. Many Army’s are OT7, which means we just love all seven equally, but if you have a favourite, it’s called your bias, and if you have someone who catches your eye and distracts you from your favourite, then that’s your bias wrecker 😂😂🤷‍♂️ My favourite, from the rappers, because I love his flow and his tone, and mostly because I love his lyrics, they touch my heart and have helped me through some tough shit, is Suga (Yoongi is his real name). The one I think is the most handsome is Jimin, he is simply the most beautiful man I have ever seen - plus I love his dance, and his vocals, and his solo work is brilliant. So I guess I have two biases - but I truly love all of them. At the end of this video, where Army sang for BTS at Wembley, I was there, it was mind-blowing. All seven members have done solo work, they are all very talented on an individual level, and you out them together, you don’t have any weak link. They have out out lots of free music on SoundCloud over the years, you should check it out. And they have all broken various records, individually and as a group. And won many awards. The do concerts, live appearances, tv appearances, variety shows, travel shows, reality shows, mv’s, behind the scenes recordings, interviews, vlogs, livestreams…there are thousands of hours of content of them, over a decades’ worth of video and music. 35:11 he joined the company at 13 years old, not 15. He said 15 because Korean age system is different than global age system. If you are 13 in other countries in Korea you would be 15, because as soon as you are born in Korea you are already 1, and on New Years you turn 2. It’s confusing but Jungkook didn’t start high school at 15 he was younger.

It was nice to watch a young man watch so diligently and comment, especially as English is not your first language. About the IQ it is not possible to train your IQ, you might be able to score 1 or 2 more points if you get used to the tests, but I sincerely doubt you would be able to make a significant difference. The majority of people's IQ lies between 85 and 115. Female ARMY from London (IQ 151).

There aren’t as many ARMY outside of Toronto and Vancouver, but we’re around 🤣 I went to the Calgary release of their proof album at chapter’s and it was a pretty cool event. BTS is surprisingly niche still? Even as big as they are now. Try Run BTS the song? It’s got some rock element. But yeah the foundation of their music is hip hop, even when they did more pop you can still see their beginnings.
