One of the classics. You don’t have to try to understand it, just enjoy the madness of Farley.

An SNL skit you should not miss: SNL The Blues Brothers. So epic is got made into a full length movie that is itself a classic. John Belushi and dan Aykroyd bacl om the day, when SNL was the biggest thing on TV. Great music and funny as anything ever.

i always thought the funniest part of this routine was when farley would make those "egh..!" and "eah..!?" noises at the end so perfectly, like a person so emotionally frustrated that they cant find enough words to express their anguish lmao, its pretty genius

It was Chris Farley's life mission to break every body he worked with. Especially Adam and David Spade. The best skits; Hidden camera commercials Hibernol GAP girls Lunch lady land (Adam Sandler song) Mayor Rudy Giuliani's son at the Yankee game Japanese game show The Chris Farley show ( interviews various celebrities) Zagats with Hank and Beverly Galfand

I feel like this skit was purely designed to make Sandler break when Farley speaks. Lol. And that's why it's one of my favorites. You can kinda hear Farley break at one point too when Sandler is talking, but it's off camera during a slow zoom close-up Sandler shot. Freaking great skit, it makes NO sense. Lol.

Chris Farley went off in these sketches. And really his explosive personality is one of the reasons, why he's so entertaining to watch. There are 2 more versions of these sketches, dog sitting service is a must. Then the coffee Comercial, to really see Chris flip tf out!!!

First, god bless u:) .....second, snl in this era was really silly, sometimes absurdist & experimental, it was the wrapping up of the 80's generation & the ushering in of the new cast, the sarcastic, 90's generation, & as a highscool & young college kid then i felt it, it was of its time, but i think a lot of it will last because it was a bit artsy in is experimentalism, & def risky, the older ppl then didnt get it....whatever this is itll def outlast whatever the snl of the last ten years has become, which is sadly, just a part of the political machine....& dont get me wrong, snl was always political, but back in the day theyd give hell to whichever side deserved it, which is usually always both, but these last years and years its been quite arrogant and embarassingly biased

@MissBrittReacts- Ich bin kein Deutscher. Britt Love your reactions. I'm a baby boomer. Born in Bremerhaven Germany. Father was in the U.S army. What I find strange is how comedy has become something that should be seen as offensive. It wasn't until most recently that has become the case. Many of the old jokes wouldn't fly today. Someone would get their feelings hurt. Most good jokes are based on the irony of truth. There's always a bit of truth in the joke.

Adam Sandler had a roommate named Tim Herlihy so he kinda based his character on him. Chris Farley was pretty much trying to make Sandler break character. They used to put some of the more ridiculous, pointless skits near the end of the show. Now the whole show is pointless.
