Thank you for reacting to ALAMAT! They are known for fusing modern and traditional Filipino elements in their craft (aside from singing in their local language, they also use native musical instruments; incorporates some folkdance/tribal dance steps in their choreography; and supports indigenous weavers and local Filipino designers for most of their wardrobe) Their music made me appreciate Philippine's diverse culture and languages. And it's not just "for gimmick", it's truly their advocacy to promote Pinoy culture. They walk their talk. (Prior to debut, Taneo&his fam already supports their Kalinga tribe; Alas was a youth coordinator/advocate of environmental and indigenous people rights in Mindanao). Tatak Pinoy, ALAMAT and SB19 are my fave ppop boygroups right now. They're oozing with talents, charisma, wit, and good values.

Maharani is my fave!! The leading lady of the MV (the Maharani) is Jhoanna from P-Pop girl group BINI and the guy with the motorcycle is Migo Valid (from the same agency as ALAMAT). Tomas does look like Daniel Padilla, and R-Ji, for me, kinda looks like Elijah Canlas. ALAMAT members come from different regions of the Philippines and speak different Filipino languages. Damn I wish that Wish 107.5 would just release their Maharani performance 😢Anyway, thanks for the RV! 🤎
