A lot of people are saying i missed the best part with his dad in the audience. Unfortunately, this video ends after he sings as you can see with the original video in the description. Trying my best guys... Im trying to have an authentic reaction which means i haven't seen the video before and sometimes that makes it hard to know which video of that performance is the best to see 🥲

Dimash made it fun, despite the sad lyrics. Dimash was on another show and the two compères put some funny lyrics in front of him and he was asked to sing it to the tune of Opera 2. Dimash laughs so much, but pulls it off. He has a great sense of humour. Thank you for continuing with Dimash. It happens to be my 80th birthday today and my daughters organised a big birthday card with Dimash’s photo and Holding a cake with candle lol. They know I am obsessed with him. Been to five overseas concerts of his, so far. (Christine from UK)

I wish you had used the longer video. His father surprised him by coming. His family had become concerned about how homesick Dimash had become. His dad took a leave of absence to come support him. This was a lot of fun.

👉 Not opera… kidding… is the wind 🤣 That was the second song in the competition "Singer 2017". The organizers of the competition asked Dimash to sing this "simple song”. The song is about a guy who built a house and now lives all alone and sad in it ...listening to the howling of the wind outside ... This song belongs to the Ukrainian- Russian vocal clown Vitas. (Relates to Videos on KZbin: Vitas sings never live and his voice is always processed electronically) However, the Chinese forgot to ask Vitas. The rights holders have sued the Chinese television... unfortunately too late. The Chinese had already put it online and so it stays on the internet forever. Vitas (Vitaly Vladasovich Grachev, *1979 Latvian SSR is a Ukrainian- Russian pop singer who mainly sings in Russian. He is also a composer, actor and fashion designer. Great reaction. Dimash never ceases to amaze. I see that you did a reaction to Lowe Control by Teddy Swims. Now you have to see the awesome version by Dimash and Chante Moore. Also, check out Dimash singing the unsingable song Diva Dance (Bastau version). It is very short so perhaps you could combine it with another version so you can see how he changes it up (e.g., Confessa+Dvia Dance or the version with Chinese opera singer Li Yugang).

I started doing my videos in English and German, recently for I Disco that a lot of Germans, despite knowing English, enjoy it more in German... my family and I just converted a Fiat Doblo Maxi and it feels so cosy and safe to travel with it. Great, that you have experience in that area as well. So we are both vanlifers, youtubers and... Dimash Fans 😀 very cool.

@@jenniferk6632 I really enjoy the reward of the finished product. It feels right. I have a hard time sometimes when after uploading a video some people like to tell me I reacted to the wrong version. But I don't want to watch the video before to find out the best version or id have to fake a reaction which I don't want to do. I loved traveling and being able to go anywhere I wanted to go spontaneously because in the worst case scenario I could always sleep in a parking lot. The freedom and experiences were truly amazing. I've since sold the van but I think next time I'd probably just buy a travel trailer maybe.

Vitas wrote Opera 2. When he caught wind of this performance by Dimash, he sent Dimash a cease and desist from ever performing it again. Dimash, being kind, did as he was told, and has never performed it again.

Do you have a video or a document stating this? No one has been able to find anything.please show us the documentation. A woman who was working at the show said the Chinese producers didn’t get permission to sing a lot of songs and copyright suits were slapped on them. Of course, Dimash goes 3 halftones higher than Vitas, but I have been reassured over and over that they know each other and all is well between them.

@@AlexAnderson99I liked your reaction. As for picking the ‘wrong’ video, that happens sometimes. We can see that your reaction is genuine and you don’t have a preconceived idea of what will happen. Anyway, the longer version is better but it’s something you can watch on your own. I think as commenters, we can sometimes come across as a bit tactless, because it’s not a face to face interaction. You’re doing good. I’m pleased by how much you appreciate Dimash. I’ve only been listening to him for a few months, and I have to almost force myself to listen to anyone else. I do believe I’m obsessed:-)
