I can remember the first time I heard Disturbed's version of the Sound of Silence in the official video and I couldn't really speak I was so overcome with emotion.

The Conan version is incredible! For him to do that flawlessly live? Awesome job!!

Thanks for the wonderful reaction! This video should come with a warning....'don't forget to breathe' :) I see so many reactors having to catch their breath and playing the song through with no pauses! Yes, the Conan version is just as beautiful and you'd never know David was very sick that night. Another of my favorites by Disturbed is 'Hold on to Memories'. I would love for you to add to your list a Korean American singer named AILEE. Most people know her for her song 'I will come to you like the first snow'....any live version is perfect. I also saw you did Sohyung's version of 'Everyone', but AILEE does a beautiful rendition as well. ARMY grandma

Oohhh yes, this cover is several years old , but so deep and powerful. Their music is rock/metal and I've loved this version ever since I heard it years ago. A sure favorite !!

This pretty much hits everyone like a ton of bricks. David was train as a cantor as a young boy. You should watch the live version of this on Conan. If you take a Disturbed journey you should watch the live version of A Reason to Fight. They are a metal band and do have more hard core songs. Just a warning they do use a lot of colorful language 🙂. Just check out their KZbin and you'll see all of it. Great reaction.

You are sooo right about the production of this video. So many reactors don't get the open. They think the audio has a problem or aren't plugged in properly. I tell the screen..."Whats THE SONG TITLE". It reinterprets the meaning of a 50plus ode to the turbulent 60's and has relevance in the 21st century. Best cover ever and I love Pentatonix. Best to you.

If you have not done it yet I strongly Suggest = The official video by Disturbed “Hold On To Memories” was released Jan 23rd 2020. “Hold on to Memories" is about not only honoring those we’ve lost, but also making the most of our time with those we still have.

I've seen this video reacted to dozens of times and still get goosebumps at David Draiman's voice lol I have 2 recommendations for you. First Disturbed's song The Light because of your reaction to Paul Simon's lyrics. 2nd David Draiman finished a side project recently with his good friend Nita Strauss who is imho the finest female guitarist in the world atm. You commented about wanting to learn to play the guitar? Here's your inspiration! Their song is called Dead Inside. Enjoy!

A very enjoyable reaction - thanks. (I was worried towards the end that you might need CPR!) I saw an interview with David where he said the band designed the video and it cost about $500,000 to make.

My take on this is it's a rightfully angry cry that we haven't heeded it's words when Paul Simon, who wrote it and originally sang it with Art Garfunkel back in 1964. By the way, if you didn't catch it, it's about our society losing it ability to connect with others in society.
