This video got people talking , not because of the famous actor she is with (Antonio Sabato Jr.) , but the face that she looked like she slimmed down a bit, and she was showing more skin, which she had not done in previous videos, the whole video was different than we had seen before, it was a refreshing take on Janet. TRUE JANET FACT: did you know that the day she recorded this shit was sick with the flu. Her head was stuffy and she was telling Jimmy & Terry that she wasn't up to it. So they lowered the key and she sang it the way we hear it. Notice in the beginning, just how "nasally" she sounds. It's bcs she's not feeling the best in the recording booth. 😮😮😮 Can you believe that??? I love those stories behind the making of a hit. You'd never know she was sick. Are you sure on that? The story most accept is that Prince was considered to duet but it never came to anything and Terry and Jimmy asked her to sing the first verse "like a guy would sing it" so she dropped her octave and they kept it and dropped the idea of it being a duet. I can find no reliable sources that mention the flu.
