Agreed. It's a very catchy, upbeat song with a sweet bass line and horns, so Amber would like it. The video for it is also impressive. It was made to look like it was done in one long, continuous take, and although there are three very well hidden cuts in it, considering the amount of people, choreography, and action as the camera moves across and through the set, the fact they were able to do the whole thing with only three cuts is pretty amazing. There was a lot of buzz about it when it came out on MTV.

I believe Love Will Never Do (Without You) was the biggest turning point of her career. It concluded the Rhythm Nation era with a complete overhaul transformation especially the music video directed by Herb Ritts featuring Antonio Sabato Jr. We wanted more in 1991 but we had to wait until 1993. It opened up the next chapter for the janet. evolution era and her sound, her image, the music videos, choreography became more feminine than the militant masculine hard dancing of RN 1814 videos, tour

I remember watching MTV in the late 90s, and they had a special, claiming there were “more women in music than ever before,” citing Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and other bubblegum pop girls. I just laughed. The women of the 80s brought the funk. Janet had the Minneapolis Sound for a while, which to me is far superior to New Jack Swing. More funky in an organic way. Her R&B stuff is good too. Runaway was big on Canadian music television.

Actually Amber, the only times Janet and Michael danced like each other was when they were doing a dance routine together. A lot of times, people say that they danced alike but they really didn't. It is just that both of them can dance, so many people think they have the same moves. Janet does street dances that are choregraphed. Michael did unique dance moves that is choregraphed into a routine, like when he would lean forward and hunch his shoulders while walking really stiff, like he did in "You Rock My World" or in "Remember The Time" when he would throw his hands to the right while moving his body to the left, or the moonwalk. All unique, but special moves that only MJ did. Then people would copy his moves like they were actually dances, so his moves became street dances. 😍😍😃😃

This song and video is such a good time! Paula Abdul choreographed many of her early videos like Nasty and What Have You Done For Me Lately and the moves on this video screams Paula to me! Yes, you have to watch Janet’s videos and most videos from the eighties, the MTV Generation…videos were very important!❤❤

Paula Abdul also did a lot of choreography for MJ which is why there are similar moves/styles
