Last outdoor wedding I went to featured 95 degrees, plus. It rained the day before, you could drink the humidity through a straw. I had tendonitis in my achilles tendon so any movement of my ankle felt like the tendon being run against a cheese grater. This was *with* pain meds. There was an open bar - and I couldn't touch a drop because of the pain meds.

Michigander here... When I was a kid my family use to go visit our relatives in Mississippi in July... Talk about HOT... and Muggy... AC was for Adults. They stayed in the house nice and cool and sent us kids outside to play... Nothing calms hyper-active kids down like 100+ heat indexes... 🤣

i went to a wedding that was at a log cabin tucked back into the woods. The couple didnt tell anyone that you would have to actually hike out to the cabin. It was a 3 mile hike and they had a giant wagon to put the gifts in and they had the groomsmen pull the wagon to the cabin. They had somewhere around 90 people show up to the wedding but 20 of them were able to do the hike to the cabin. It had a nice scenic lake view and we sat in the back of the cabin. The next bad part was that their were a bunch of ground bees that had a home near by and they got agitated. i got stung 4 times and there were 5 others that got stung. After the ceremony was done and the bee thing resolved. We all had to hike back but the couple went down to the lake and were driven off on a boat. One of the worst weddings i have ever been to. So many people were angry

I live in the South. A/C 10 months out of the year (conservative estimate) is an absolute necessity. My face touches fresh air very rarely because it's HOT and MUGGY. That's not entirely why I'm a hermit, but it has a not insignificant effect.

There should be a warranty on the wedding gifts... if you don't make it past 10 years, you have to reimburse or you don't make a wish list for gifts. This is not a Christmas and Santa Claus. I can see the cash gifts as nonrefundable as there is a lot of out of pocket expenses.

He died due to mobility, complications from diabetes and other medical problems. He was so funny and talented. So sad. I'm on the same path unfortunately. I will be dying sooner than I'd like.

"physically spent" are PR buzz words. In Sept. 2013 he entered rehab for prescription pill addiction and in April 2014 he passed. Back then many comedians were in the throws of addiction, ie: Matthew Perry. You could see his drastic weight loss just like John's.

One thing I haven't seen you react to is John Pinette's incredible singing voice. He was actually on Broadway performing in Hairspray and he did a stand up bit about that as well in his show I'm Starving. He also expanded on the Wizard of Oz buffet bit in his recording Show Me The Buffet where he sang his own cover, "Somewhere Over the Buffet". Definitely check that one out.
