Alan is one of those "Living Country Legends". He did indeed write this for his Wife. It's the story of their life together. That's his wife in the video with him, and all the pics/videos are his family. They became Grandparents not too long ago. He has an amazing catalog. Tons of songs to choose from. Some serious, some funny, some incredibly patriotic. Like all the Country Legends, he's been doing his thing for about 40 years.

The story of Alan Jackson's marriage could have been typically destroyed by fame, but something wonderful happened. The two were high school sweet hearts; he met her when she was working at the town's Dairy Queen. He became a popular performer and being 602, blond hair, blue eyes he had numerous affairs as women threw themselves at him, causing his wife to leave him. But then the story took a turn. She found God and gave him another chance. He stopped screwing around and dedicated himself to being a loyal husband and later father of three girls. Their marriage is a testament that with enough love and dedication, miracles can happen.

"Midnight in Montgomery" a smash his single both in the U.S. and Canadian country charts released back in 1992 by Alan Jackson is worth checking out.🔍The song is referring to as a tribute to one of the pioneers in country-western music who was popular in the late 1940's and early 1950's the legendary Hank Williams. At any rate, the message conveyed in the song is understood. Besides, "Midnight in Montgomery" also has a smooth flow and a pleasant listen. 🎤🎸🥁🔊📻🎧

Alan wrote this song for his wife. That is her in the video and video clips of his family life.He is very tall guy,6' 4" so she looks short next to him.Alan has CMT which causes him a great deal of pain when standing still for long periods and muscle weakness. I think I read that after this tour is done,he will retire from performing.

A great video for you to react to would be Travis Tritt singing the live version song “Anymore”… it’s part of a trilogy that is awesome. I would love his distinct country voice. Vince Gill has other country ballads that are not gospel, so I’m sure everyone would look forward to you checking out more of his music.
