To anyone who watches this video. I keep getting comments that state Idol and Idle are two different things. I am very well aware of that. I read somewhere that the song is about falling in love with a drug addict. He loved her for who she was but as he stared into her eyes he realized it was just a dream. She was nothing more than a junkie using him to get high. She was just eyes because her face was so numb from all the drugs she used. Hence why he despised her and calls her a human waste.

"Les Yeux sans visage" is "Eyes Without a Face" in French. The backup singers are singing the title in French as well. The title was inspired by a 1960's French Horror film with the same title. The film is basically about a Doctor who turned serial k****r after his daughter's face was disfigured in an accident. In an effort to restore the daughter's face the Dr. and his accomplice would kidnap women, render them unconscious, and attempt to do a face transplant.

I like your chalkboard idea. Having the bullet points helps with the information you want to talk about as well as remember. Personally, I would lose the editing inserts that you do with the sound effects and pictures. They are unnecessary and distracting. That is only my personal preference. I am in no way an expert. I can see how the sound effects and images can appeal to kids. I am almost sure adults do not care for that kind of stuff. I subscribed to your channel moments ago because you genuinely seem interested in exploring all genres of music. And that is awesome. It can be tough analyzing and talking about the songs, but you are doing great. It takes a lot of time and energy to make these videos. You are doing great and you are going to get better and better. I'm just a music fanatic and avid listener. I watch zero television, but I listen to a few hours of music every day and I have been for about 25 years now. I like Billy Idol. This song is fantastic. I don't know why people even bother trying to decipher the 'true meaning' of pop songs. Their obscure and confusing lyrics show us what a waste of time that would be, as the words could be interpreted to mean just about anything, or it might be the case that they don't mean anything at all.
