Billy is from the original London punk scene. He was a legend before his solo career. This was early MTV, and helped usher in a second British invasion of music artists into the US. Steve Stevens on guitar!
@JW6664 жыл бұрын
Yep, he was even in a band called Generation X. One of the songs they had was Dancing With Myself, which Billy basically made a cover of when he went solo. The only difference between those versions of the songs are in the Gen. X version it had more rough punk guitar riffs and the ending is different.

What TF are you kidding me? Sorry but apparently you didn’t live IN the 80s cuz yea Nope, even in Minneapolis when I’d visit I’d get made up horrendously and mocked for being a punk/gothic in 1985/86….it was WAY WAY worse in my small city of 100k in Wi, but sure ya could whatever ya wanted! LMFAO don’t even get me started about cliquish high school was and if you’re 25lbs overweight you the FATSO OF THE SCHOOL. Now there’s many kids above 300/400lbs 🤮 And body piercings? I was a sick freak for a tongue ring in 1988…same with tats. It’s NOWADAYS MODERN TIMES. Body piercings & tats are meh zero big deal anymore no no longer are they a sign of some rebel or anarchist…..😂 freakin old people get tats and piercings….or 16yr olds ….same with blue or weird colored hair! And there’s SO MANY genres and styles of music and dress now then compared to then…..sooooo accessible! You can dress how you want at ANY AGE NOW….I do and I’m 53…. BUT you’re gonna claim with a straight face that somehow it was SOOOO MUCH MORE LOOSE AND EASY regarding how one looked and dressed?! Just stop already, don’t embarrass no way you lived in the 80s. And society SO MUCH LESS accepting then now….gays were hidden and shunned. And all else….zero help for mental illness or crap help…on and on I could go… .
