I remember the Dean Martin show. I was 11 yrs old in '65. He always sang this song at the end of his show. I also love all the movies he was in with his ex-partner Jerry Lewis. They were part of the old Hollywood Rat Pact. Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Peter Lawford, and Joey Bishop.

Dean Martin was such a smooth crooner with a nice relaxing voice. He was nicknamed "The King of Cool". This is before auto tuning. Artists had to be really able to sing. And the lyrics were clean, romantic & really meant something. He has a huge library of great songs such as "Ain't That A Kick In The Head?", "Memories Are Made Of This", "That's Amore", "You're Nobody till Somebody Loves You", "Sway", "Volare" etc. Dean Martin was also part of the famous Rat Pack in the 60's along with Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr. & others.

When this song came out, it knocked The Beatles out of the number 1 spot. Frank Sinatra or Nat King Cole couldn't do that. There were many great artists back then. After one of his concerts, Elvis told Dean's kids: "I may be the king of rock n roll, but your dad is the king of cool."

He and Jerry Lewis were great friends and did lots of shows and movies together for many years until they fell out for about 20 years and then were reunited again until Dean Martins death ❤️🥰💔
