So I was a bit anxious when in front of the camera again after a while so yes I got my left and rights wrong a few times lol. But if you have any suggestions for the next poll on what I listen to next I'll add two from suggestions and 2 from my listen list!

i would recommend to check their(loathe) previous album called the cold sun, it's very atmospheric conceptual album and a bit heavier, but yet not that "monumental" as iliiaite

This album is a 10/10 for me. The more you listen, the better it gets. You start to really pick out all the background happenings and just get lost in the music. One of my favorite all-time albums.

This is probably the best video I've seen on this album. It's nice to hear a musicians take on this album using music vocabulary. It's my favorite album of all time and it's refreshing seeing someone not just say "oh yea that was good" and then just move on. I like how you focus on the sonics first then pull up lyrics after. The way Loathe plays with rhythm is masterful and makes the replayability extremely high. Subscribed!

This album was perspective-shifting for me, just a beautiful culmination of genres and sounds that I never thought would be combined. Shifted me from a more causal metalcore/prog metal listener to a lover of the genre. Seriously great stuff, in my top 5 albums ever.

Favorite album of all time personally and have watched/listened to this video about 5 times now. Greatly appreciate every thing you’ve pointed out, your input throughout is really awesome from your knowledge of what goes into making such music and your immense vocabulary to express your points very clearly. Thank you for this🖤 Hope to see some Sleep Token on here soon but heads up they sometimes do fade outs (for what seems like no reason sometimes) but they are my favorite band regardless 😂 Also thank you for the Deftones reactions, all 3 of these bands are my all time favorites and somehow all have similarities of uniqueness if that make sense. Love seeing others review and appreciate this amazing album. Loved your review and takes on it, and i do agree when others say 'its gets better with more listens" because I was not too crazy aside from "Is It Really You" and 'Two Way Mirror" but over listening to it over a year I've come to appreciate all the songs, minus "Screaming" which I just can't seem to like for some reason.

Seeing you do this reaction to this Loathe album, i would love to see your opinion and reaction to Heavener by Invent, Animate. To me and many others, its an experience that melds melody, ambience, and anxious vocals to make a an album that, "expresses your own heaven" as the lead singer has put it. Loved this! Your input is nice. Love the glasses too!

in your free time you should absolutely check out a single loathe dropped about a year back called dimorphous display, in my opinion it's their most beautiful and raw song. the basslines, melody choices, dissonance, and synths are out of this world. when i first heard it i wasn't a fan and thought it was overwhelming to listen to, but the more i listened, the more and more i fell in love with the song also their guitarist erik co-produced this album with george lever (producer for sleep token, monuments, holding absence), and erik is an actual musical freak. he can shred guitar, bass, drums, and can also produce, mix, and write extremely detailed and gorgeous songs. hes just not human tbh

Cool reaction video. Are you classically trained and were you also trained in recording studio college? Remarkable you're very technical and picking things up instantly 👍🏻👍🏻
@barchel7 ай бұрын
Thanks so much! I am only a little classically trained I did like 5 years of piano and trombone and 1 year vocal lessons, but after that I self taught guitar and bass. I used alot of online resources for my mixing and recording knowledge, huge recommendation to the yt channel Dan Worrall. I am enrolled for a composition and music technology undergraduate degree this year. Hope that answers your questions. :) Most of the things I pick up are because I am an active songwriter, musician, producer and audio engineer.
