I saw these guys live in 1985 in New Zealand when i was around 18. I did like the band but the show totally blew me away and I’ve a huge fan ever since. Amazing really as I was a total metal head at the time and didn’t really listen to radio music much.

They were one of the world's most popular bands from about 1983 - 1993. Definitely one of the best New Wave bands out there, during the 80's! That Wembley Stadium show was a triumphant moment for them. I am so glad they captured it on film!

I think they had 35 cameras, including a helicopter shot. Allegedly they spent all their takings from the show..worth every cent!

my husband's fave song is the stairs, mine is by my side, both performed on live baby live. not ones most people mention, so much charisma on the slower balads too. frankly my favorite live stuff is from live at barker hanger. I like later inxs, full moon dirty hearts, welcome to whereever you are, and elegantly wasted, also michael’s work with max Q. It's not a typical opinion though. it hurts, because in my heart and mind michael was just getting better, vocally and lyrically. I miss him so much. your reaction was fun, and michael would approve of you singing along, so don't worry about that.

Michael was voted back then as the sexiest man in the world. It was all a facade for the stage. When the performance started, he sizzled with sensuality and charisma, but off stage, the other side of Michael was shy, sweet, and endearing. You should check out the official video for the song Mystify. You get to see both sides of him. Personally, I think your original interpretation of the lyrics is more correct, but if there is one thing a good frontman knows how to do, it's play their crowd, and Michael was an exceptionally good frontman.

That's quite the frontman despite being shy.. Not a lot of people who are introverted and reserved could pull off what he did. He was meant to be the star of INXS. He did it so exceptionally well. He captivated the hearts of many. ✨️ I'll check out mystify. 🫶

@@AmarissNevae this documentary will answer everything! His fav book was a book called Perfume which was also Kurt Cobains fav book 📖 too and was made into a movie 🎬. Alot of incredible stories and information and footage . Alot of personal footage. There is another documentary out there too from 2019 called Mystify Michael Hutchence If you watch the last Rockstar let me know what you think , I'd love to know your reaction. @@AmarissNevae yes it has 2 parts almost 3 hours long lol I'd love to send you pics of the book and movie posters to Perfume. But YT doesn't let you do that. Are you on any other social media? I only have Facebook messenger lol that would be interesting if you did a review if you watched that documentary. It goes deep into his life and his passing. His passing is a mystery in itself. He was tangled in a huge relationship battle that was always in the headlines back in the day as much as Princess Diana used to be. He also had an accident that changed his entire life but I don't wanna spoil anything. He did date alot of famous celebrities including Kylie Minogue. There is an INXS song about her. There are INXS songs about all his girlfriends. His solo music outside INXS is extremely different

I'm really introverted at times, but I really enjoy youtube. Perhaps I can buy it online. I didn't read about his passing in detail, but I'm interested. It was a SAD day when Michael Hutchence was found dead in his hotel suite, but I remember it well because a woman I liked was so sad, she called me to take her out to distract her from it, WE HAD AN EPIC DATE/ NIGHT. RIP MICHAEL, GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN!!!
