The guy who got emotional (I forgot his name but I remember I recently saw a video about him) actually announced his retirement from pro play at that moment, on that stage. It seems to be that it was quite a historic and emotional moment...

6:20 Every player gets to pick 2 summoner spells per game. Summoner spells are essentially abilities that have very long cooldowns (you can use them once every 3-6 minutes). The most common ones are; Flash, teleport, heal & ignite. Flash is used by 99% of players and it allows you to blink in a direction instantly. This is by far the most powerful summoner spell as it can be used in so many different scenarios. Primarily it is used to dodge abilities that are super important to dodge, to escape from being killed by flashing over a wall for example, or for engaging onto the enemies.

It's easy to say t1 is my favorite team because it's probably the most famous and recognizable team, both for its success and its promotional work. the '15-'16 rosters are huge, zofgk is incredible, and i love that team. but my favorite team will always be the 2020 drx roster, not so much for what they accomplished, but for how much of an incredible brotherhood energy they had (maybe thanks to deft), and because that roster produced incredible players like doran, chovy, pyosik, and keria. thinking about it... all these pro players are now considered incredibly valuable in their roles (keria is practically the best support in the world, it's funny how at this worlds he made all the other supports look like kinda... fools) i can always call almost any roster of gen.g one of my favorite teams. and for the last few years i have been very actively following the success of g2 (the european team), they were great, unfortunately, they didn't even make it to the quarterfinals (at swiss they were very "lucky" to face both t1 and blg) after which their roster was changed, and i don't even know what to think. but I believe in how great a player their midlaner Сaps is, and my dream is to see him become world champion! (fan fact, t1 and g2 have a history as rivals-teams, but their relationship is very warm, and this year in London g2 helped t1 with training before the finals) and also this year i discovered flyquest from north america! and although their roster is, so to speak, a little not quite american (their top laner bwipo is belgian, a very famous european player (he played for the fnatic team), their jungler - inspired is polish, who also played a lot in the european league, their mid laner quad is korean, who played in both drx and gen), so in fact only their bot lane originally has something to do with na-region. massu - adk - is definitely a rokkie this year, an incredible talent, i hope to see how he will blossom in the future! flyquest is my reason to watch not only european and korean leagues. as for the teams of the chinese league, for some reason i could not choose my favorite team, although there are so many amazing players there!

Worlds 2015 was so hype man (flash is a summoner spell to dash, you can use it to escape or to gap close an enemy)

Nice1 , thanks for explaining that one !

I like T1 the most. Been supporting them for like 4 years now. But I recently grown fond of G2 so I'm sad that their 2024 roster is no longer together.

My personal favorite team is T1 for sure! but I also really liked GenG and KT Rolster this year, as well as Top Esports. For the upcoming year, I will be strongly supporting T1, GenG, KT Rolster and KC (european team)! I will also keep an eye on GiantX (european team) and whatever teams the two chinese players Jackeylove and Meiko are going to be on!

almost a perfect tournament for skt they only lose 1 game in the finals so they were undefeated until the final people were expecting a perfect worlds

this whole year was nearly perfect. if they had won this 1 teamfight in MSI game 5 and we had the golden road already completed

@@Ephemerthefish2525 they got 3rd in sommer 2016. so they lost in LCK-Semifinals. So game-wise they are at the point with JDG 2023 with missing 4 wins but in sommer instead of Worlds. so the best golden road runs are: Straight wins -> spring, msi and summer G2 2019 with missing 3 wins in finals Closest in Wins/Games -> SKT T1 2015 with only 1 teamfight losing in MSI finals (so 1 Win) SKT 2016 -> missing 4 Wins in Summer JDG 2023 -> missing 5 Wins but at worlds
