This collab happened because mydays keep recommending the song to Young K during his on the way to work lives until he listened to it and said it was a good song. Ben&Ben reached out and they made a version of it with Young K! So surreal because everything happened so fast. Leaves is already such a good song but this version is just soooooo emotive like a hug ❤ This song became really famous in Korea that time too because fans of idols keep recommending it to their faves and idols started listening to the song too! Ben&Ben are a great band please check them out more!!

They did two collabs with SB19 - first is a cover of "Mapa" and then their original "Kapangyarihan." For their other originals, the older standouts are "Kathang Isip," "Ride Home," "Maybe the Night," aside from "Leaves," and the songs whose videos you should see back to back, "Pagtingin" and "Araw-Araw." For their later work, there is a lot to choose from, but their early work was what built their fandom.

If I remember correctly when Young K is live people recommend leaves in the comment (also tons of other songs, also this was the around the time that people kept recommending Filipino songs to idols but mostly ben n ben if i remember correctly) so he listened to it and also some of the ben n ben members were a fan of Day6 (or knows them, not 100% sure). Then I think fans of both sides told them that they listened to each other of their songs and couple months later they collabed! (just a fun story) not entirely sure how did they came to collab though! As a Liwanag (Ben&Ben fandom) and a MyDay (Day6 fandom), It was a great time for me during the pandemic.
