52:52 If you watch the entire lore about Sylvie u know she got A LOT of L's.. This is after she got 'powered up' by the Zoval, before this, her story was FILLED with misery and L's and makes this whole plot understandable

Deathwing( the dragon in cataclysm cinematic) is still the only antagonist that has two boss fights in one raid. There are a ton more than 3 races to choose from but only 2 factions to choose

I love that you hold your thought when someone starts to talk. There's too many people reacting that don't put their thoughts behind the actual trailer. That's an automatic sub.

The movie took place LONG before any of the events in World of Warcraft. The Warcraft movie takes place before the opening of the Dark Portal and the Orc Horde Invasion of Azeroth and the start of the First War. So the movie takes place before even the first Warcraft game Warcraft: Orcs and Humans which covers the actual First War.

29:05 btw recently for the 20 years anniversary of WoW, Blizzard made a collab with themselves, including WoW skins to Overwatch. And among the skins, there is Sylvanas (the dark elf with the bow) she's really cool also as someone who never played wow but played a lot of Hearthstone (a TCG with the characters from wow), it's cool to have some lore behing the characters I know

Just watched this! There's a couple of recent expansion cinematics left out of this one. Dragonflight, and The War Within. Both have high definition cinematics. Although in terms of following the story, it's a bit difficult with only these cinematics. There are many in game cinematics that show more story and although many are worth watching, there might be a video that just shows the important ones to the main plot. Especially between Legion and Shadowlands is where you may have a lot of questions that the in game story would answer.

I think the scene where they carry Varok;s body through the gates of Orgrimmar probably made EVERYONE who has played the game fora long time cry a little bit. Even the tough guys, though they would hide it outwardly.

Yes. You are correct on the names. Warcraft: Orcs and Humans Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and its expansion pack Warcraft III:Frozen Throne And then World of Warcraft and all of its expansions over the last 20 years of WoW's existence. 30 total years of Warcraft lore all in the Warcraft Universe. So it is A LOT to go into if you really want to know more and fully understand it. And right now there are 24 total races playable in WoW. Orcs, Mag'har Orcs, Humans, Trolls, Zandalari Trolls, Night Elves, Dwarves, Dark Iron Dwarves, Earthen, Tauren, High Mountain Tauren, Gnomes, Mecha-Gnomes, Blood Elves, Void Elves, Draenei, Lightforged Draenei, Goblins, Kul Tirans, Worgen/Gilneans, Forsaken, Nightborne, Vulpera, and Pandaren

@@VictorNightroad That I really could not tell you. My knowledge of the lore comes from having played it for nearly the entire time of Warcraft game history. Started with orcs vs Humans on my first computer, a whopping 33mhz Intel with 512K RAM, to now playing World of Warcraft for the last 20 years. I would suggest looking up "All WoW Cinematics in order" or just "WoW Cinematics in order" on Google and you should be able to find videos for each, at least World of Warcraft, expansion and main game with all the cinematics from that expansion in order. And warning some of them will be over 1hr+ long lol. And even then that will only give you a brief rundown as so much relies on actually playing the game to get the full lore and story behind each expansion etc. to full understand and grasp what is fully going on.

So basically Sylvanas was working for the god of death to avoid her going to hell. She was leader of the Horde and started a war just to send souls to the shadowlands (afterlife) to empower them both. It created a civil war in the Horde and she slipped up by admitting she doesn't actually like them, so she goes and opens a gateway to join her boss. They basically want to redesign the afterlife to work in their favour. The shadowlands expansion which explains how/why they are doing that is famous for having the worst story in all of warcrafts history.

Enjoy, hermano. Never got into WoW, mmos are not my thing. Did play the Warcraft and Starcraft RTS games. When Blizzard was great.😢

Honestly, the lore of WoW is far too deep and complicated to be understandable with only the extensions trailers, and I will not make an info dump comment because it would be too difficult for me. The best advice I can give you is to watch lore explanations videos on KZbin.
