This song departs from the anxiety of Firda Marsya Kurnia (vocals, guitar), Widi Rahmawati (bass), and Euis Sitti Aisyah (drums) about the negative stigma they get. Together with their teacher at Madrasah Tsanawiyah (Islamic Junior High School), Abah Erza Satia, they started working on this song. The song '𝘎𝘰𝘥, 𝘈𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸 𝘔𝘦 (𝘗𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦) 𝘛𝘰 𝘗𝘭𝘢𝘺 𝘔𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘤' was motivated by the negative stigma and intolerance experienced by these three hijabi young women. In fact, they also experience it in their home area, Singajaya Village, Garut, West Java. wow I was so impressed to see your reaction video, I really wanted to cry when you explained something at the end of the video, like freedom about what they wear. so next time I highly recommend you to see their latest single entitled "Not public property". the song tells about what you said above. btw they are from Indonesia, I know how difficult they were before they got to this point. They live in a conservative society that prohibits girls from playing music, especially rock or metal music because it is considered haram and inappropriate. They were even threatened people to stop playing music, the vocalist was purposely hit by a motorbike and threw stones at her head and her parents' shop was damaged by people who didn't like them playing music. if you want to know more, maybe you can also watch their video "live at penny line", because in the video there are several stories about them in the middle of the video. ❤️❤️❤️

As muslim woman (especially who wears hijab/veil), hard rock or metal isn't really "match" their religious look since this type of music often stereotypes with "demonic" cult, drugs, alchohol and free sex ... this band pretty much gives messages in their songs related to some unfair stereotypes among the society. What I like about this band is that they're raw, very innocent but yet just being honest and sincere speaking up their thought They are from Indonesia btw 😁👍 Thank you so much guys for reacting this group ... you may check another one "(not) public property" ... it's about gender bias among the society ❤️❤️❤️
