First Time Riding A Cruiser Reaction & Buying It!

Checking out (and buying) a Suzuki VS800 Intruder! My first time on a cruiser coming from sportsbikes. Plus my buddy on a YZF600 swapping bikes with me to try it out for himself.

I love cruisers more than any type of bike, even though i owned alot of other types of bikes, but cruisers just fit my lifestyle more, im 20 and i got a harley fatboy and i love it and i love all cruisers tbh, theyre comfortbale, sporty, luxurious and the sound is just eargasmic

Ride the bike you like and that suits your type of riding. In my experience the sports bike is not the sort of bike you want for a long day on the road. The riding position and the ergonomic aren't right for me. A cruiser is more comfortable, it is suited for a long day riding. The wheel base is longer which means getting around the curves and loops isn't as easy as the sports bike. To me it is the ride that is important not the destination nor the time it takes you to get there. So long as you arrive in comfort and enjoyed the ride.

only downside t ocruisers is they have a low redline. They're not sportbikes, mine tops out at 8500rpm. Most other bikes are just getting started at that rev.

I know I'm late, but I turn 16 in a few months, I live up north in Ohio, so I heard some stuff (Like motorcycle classes) could be cheap, I'm so enthusiastic to ride my first motorcycle, I don't like sport bikes so I'd rather have a cruiser, can anyone give me any advice for my first time riding so my parents don't regret buying me a motorcycle for my first car? Freddy J. Griffin Hey man, I live in Michigan and all I had to do was take a written test at the DMV/SOS and then take a skills course riding test which I paid less than $50 for I believe. Both were super easy. However, I was 20 at the time, and in MI at least, you have to take a class if you’re under 18 I believe. Just do your research. 😊 Other than that, just spam Craigslist and Facebook markets and keep your eyes out for steals on bikes then get yourself a nice helmet, riding jacket and gloves. Be ultra aware and heavily in the moment while you ride to help keep you safe from the idiots on the road not paying attention. Other than that you should be golden!

@@Kawagromba Thanks mate, but the bike thing is probably what I should be worried about most because who knows what bike my parents are going to put a bow on and handing over the keys. Other than that I should be good, just have to worry about riding gear. I'll update you when that time comes, or if you have a Discord or whatever, let me know, thanks for the reply, sir.
