John and Paul seemed to be able to harmonize so easily, even when they were just screwing around. If you become a fan, you'll eventually find some of these.

Loving you loving The Beatles. And to think, they wrote most of their songs, played their own music, and put out all their music in 8 short years! That will never be matched in the history of popular music.

It is SO wonderful seeing you, and others your age, enjoying the Beatles music. It makes my heart happy. I was 13 when I first heard them, and I am 74 now and still listening to them. When I was your age, I couldn't even imagine that would happen. It is a pure JOY to see you enjoying them as much as I have throughout my long life as a Beatle fan.

Always fun to see a younger person see the Beatles for the first time perform live. Yes they are amazing. The guitarist all alone on the left was George. The two singers were Paul on the left adding harmony to John on the right singing lead vocal. That was Ringo on the drums. Glad that you like them. I have been listening to them since they came out so they are part of my DNA by now.

Hi! The Beatles recorded "Ticket To Ride" on 15 February 1965. Written primarily by John Lennon and credited to Lennon - McCartney. It became the Beatles seventh No.1 hit in the United Kingdom and their third No.1 in the United States. The song was included on their 1965 album Help! In 1969 "Ticket to Ride" was covered by the Carpenters whose version peaked at No.54 on the Billboard Hot 100. Three others the Beatles No.1 Billboard Hot 100 songs in 1965 was "I Feel Fine", "Yesterday" and "Eight Days a Week".

A very nice reaction 🎫 🚋🚅! Ticket To Ride was released as the lead single from The Beatles' 1965 album: Help!. It was written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney. It was produced by George Martin. The song reached #1 on the Hot 100 and #1 Cash Box 100. As well as being a #1 chart topping song in many different countries around the world. I don't know where this live performance is from. Ringo Starr was on drums with Paul McCartney, John Lennon and George Harrison (lead guitar) on the guitars. The brief guitar part you were talking about is credited to Paul McCartney. John Lennon was also credited as the lead vocalist on this song. The song has been covered by many artists including: The Carpenters, The 5th Dimension, Mary Wells, Gwen Guthrie, Bee Gees, Eddie Money, Glen Campbell, Rocking Ghosts, The Chicks, Asylum Party, Cassandra Lange, Vanilla Fudge Echo & The Bunnymen, and many more. This song was used in the Beatles 1965 movie: Help!, in the scene where The Beatles ski... poorly. According to writer Steve Turner, many Americans concluded the "ticket" was from British Railways, and "ride" was the town of Ryde on the Isle of Wight. Paul McCartney confessed to his biographer Barry Miles that they were partly right. Paul McCartney had a cousin who ran a bar in Ryde and he and John Lennon had visited them there. Paul McCartney later mentioned that although the song was primarily about a girl riding out of the life of the narrator, they were conscious of the potential for a double meaning. Don Short, who traveled with the Beatles in the '60s, recalled that John Lennon coined the phrase "Ticket To Ride" for another meaning: The girls who worked the streets in Hamburg had to have a clean bill of health and the authorities would give them a card saying they were clean. Don Short later said that although he specifically recalls John Lennon telling him that, John Lennon could have been joking - you had to be careful with him like that. John Lennon on the song: "That was one of the earliest heavy-metal records made". The brief but recognizable guitar solo was played by Paul McCartney, who was The Beatles bass player. "Ticket To Ride" has been included in many critics' best-song lists, including top 500 "all-time" lists compiled by Rolling Stone in 2010 (at number 394) and the NME in 2014 (number 311). Dave Marsh ranked it 29th on his 1989 list "The 1001 Greatest Singles Ever Made". The track appeared at number 17 on Rolling Stone's list of the "100 Greatest Beatles Songs" and at number 23 on a similar list compiled by Mojo. In 2009, the staff of PopMatters ranked "Ticket To Ride" at number 10 in their list of the 25 "Classic" Beatles tracks, which they defined as "not necessarily the 'best songs'" by the band, but those "through which (perhaps) we might gain the deepest appreciation for their popular genius". David Gassman said the track was most notable as an early example of The Beatles incorporating Indian sounds, anticipating "Norwegian Wood" and "Within You Without You". He also described the song as "Exhibit A that Ringo Starr is one of the greatest rock 'n' roll drummers of all time" and said it was among the band's best singles". In 2014, USA Today named it the best Beatles song, saying: "No single better reflects the ambition, tension and pure pop genius that made The Beatles unique … Ticket To Ride is perfection all the way through". The music staff of Time Out London ranked it at number 11 on their 2018 list of the best Beatles songs. Critical Reception 🗣: Music critics Richie Unterberger of AllMusic and Ian MacDonald both feel that "Ticket To Ride" is an important milestone in the evolution of the musical style of the Beatles. Richie Unterberger said, "the rhythm parts on 'Ticket To Ride' were harder and heavier than they had been on any previous Beatles outing, particularly in Ringo Starr's stormy stutters and rolls". MacDonald describes it as "psychologically deeper than anything the Beatles had recorded before ... extraordinary for its time - massive with chiming electric guitars, weighty rhythm, and rumbling floor tom-toms", and he views the production as a signal of the band's next major change of musical direction, with "Tomorrow Never Knows" in April 1966. MacDonald also comments that, while the Kinks' song: "See My Friends", has been identified as the inspiration for The Beatles' use of Indian instrumentation later in 1965, the subtle drone in "Ticket To Ride" could equally have influenced the Kinks when they recorded the song: "See My Friends". Neil McCormick of The Daily Telegraph sees a darker edge to Lennon's lyric writing during the Help! period and he cites "the drone of riffing, proto-heavy-rock song "Ticket To Ride" as an example of the band's more sophisticated sound, and of how the album "contains some of their greatest early songs". Writing for Rough Guides, Chris Ingham similarly views the track as "magnificently brooding" and "the most intense music The Beatles had yet recorded". In his review of Help! for BBC Music, David Quantick includes "Ticket To Ride" among the album's "flashes of brilliance" and describes it as "the song that saw The Beatles take on The Kinks, The Stones and The Who at their own, more rocky game". The Beatles Info 📰: The Beatles were a Rock band, formed in Liverpool, England in 1960, that comprised John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. The Beatles' earliest musical influences include Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Little Richard, Chuck Berry and Gene Vincent. They are regarded as the most influential band of all time and were integral to the development of 1960s counter-culture and popular music's recognition as an art form. Rooted in Skiffle, Beat and 1950s Rock 'N Roll, their musical sound incorporated elements of Classical music and traditional Pop in innovative ways; the band also explored music styles ranging from Folk and Indian music to Psychedelia and Hard Rock. As pioneers in music recording, songwriting and artistic presentation, The Beatles revolutionized many aspects of the music industry and were often publicized as leaders of the era's youth and socio-cultural movements. Led by primary songwriters John Lennon and Paul McCartney, The Beatles evolved from John Lennon's previous group, The Quarrymen, and built their reputation playing clubs in Liverpool and Hamburg over three years from 1960, initially with Stuart Sutcliffe playing bass. The core trio of John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison, together since 1958, went through a succession of drummers, including Pete Best, before asking Ringo Starr to join them in 1962. Manager Brian Epstein molded them into a professional act, and music producer George Martin guided and developed their recordings, greatly expanding their domestic success after signing to EMI Records and achieving their first hit song: "Love Me Do", in late 1962. As their popularity grew into the intense fan frenzy dubbed as : "Beatlemania", the band acquired the nickname: "The Fab Four", with the group's manager Brian Epstein, the group's music producer George Martin or another member of the band's entourage sometimes informally referred to as a "Fifth Beatle". By early 1964, The Beatles were international stars and had achieved unprecedented levels of critical and commercial success. They became a leading force in Britain's cultural resurgence, ushering in the 1960s British Musical Invasion of the United States mainstream Pop music market, and soon made their film debut in the movie: A Hard Day's Night (1964). A growing desire to refine their studio efforts, coupled with the untenable nature of their concert tours, led to the band's retirement from live performances in 1966. At this time, they produced records of greater sophistication, including the albums: Rubber Soul (1965), Revolver (1966) and Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (1967), and enjoyed further commercial success with the albums: The Beatles also known as "The White Album" (1968) and Abbey Road (1969). The success of these records heralded the album era, as albums became the dominant form of record consumption over singles; they also increased public interest in psychedelic drugs and Eastern spirituality, and furthered advancements in electronic music, album art and music videos. In 1968, they founded Apple Corps, a multi-armed multimedia corporation that continues to oversee projects related to the band's legacy. After the group's break-up in 1970, all principal former members enjoyed success as solo artists and some partial reunions have occurred. John Lennon was murdered in 1980 and George Harrison passed away from lung cancer in 2001. Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr remain musically active in 2023. The Beatles are the best-selling music act of all time, with estimated sales of 600 million units worldwide. They are the most successful act in the history of the US Billboard charts. They hold the record for most number-one albums on the UK Albums Chart (15), most number-one hits on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart (20), and most singles sold in the UK (21.9 million). The band received many accolades, including seven Grammy Awards, four Brit Awards, an Academy Award (for Best Original Song Score for the 1970 documentary film "Let It Be") and fifteen Ivor Novello Awards. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988, and each principal member was inducted individually between 1994 and 2015. In 2004 and 2011, the group topped Rolling Stone's lists of the greatest artists in history. Time magazine named them among the 20th century's 100 most important people. ****CONTINUE BELOW****

The Beatles Break Up 🪲🚫: From August 18, 1962 to September 20, 1969 The Beatles consisted of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. Their break-up is attributed to numerous factors, including: the strain of "The Beatlemania" cultural phenomenon, the 1967 passing of the group's manager Brian Epstein, bandmates' resentment of Paul McCartney's perceived domineering, John Lennon's heroin use and his relationship with Yoko Ono, George Harrison's increasingly prolific songwriting, the floundering of their music company Apple Corps, The Get Back project (renamed Let It Be in 1970) and other various managerial disputes. During the latter half of the 1960s, the band members began to assert individual artistic agendas. Their disunity became most evident on their 1968 album: The Beatles (also known as "The White Album"), and quarrels and disharmony over musical matters soon permeated their business discussions. Ringo Starr left the group for two weeks during The White Album sessions, and George Harrison quit for five days during The Get Back rehearsals. Starting in 1969, the group split into two camps regarding who should handle their business affairs. Paul McCartney lobbied for entertainment lawyers Lee and John Eastman, but was outvoted by his bandmates in favor of businessman Allen Klein. The final time that the four members recorded together was the recording session for the Abbey Road album's song: "The End", on August 20, 1969. Their final meeting with all four band members present was two days later at a photo session held at John Lennon's Tittenhurst estate. On September 20, 1969 John Lennon privately informed his bandmates at a meeting at Apple, without George Harrison present, that he was leaving The Beatles, although it was unclear to the other members whether his departure was just temporary or permanent. On April 10, 1970 Paul McCartney said in a press release that he was no longer working with the group, which sparked a widespread media reaction and worsened the tensions between him and his bandmates. Paul McCartney filed suit for the dissolution of The Beatles' contractual partnership on 31 December 1970. Legal disputes continued long after their break-up, and the dissolution was not formalized until December 29 1974, when John Lennon signed the paperwork terminating the partnership while on vacation with his family at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. After the break-up of the Beatles in April 1970, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr enjoyed success as solo artists and collaborated with each other on numerous occasions, including on both studio and live recordings. Rumors of a full-fledged band reunion persisted throughout the 1970s, as the members occasionally reunited for collaboration, but never with all four simultaneously. Ringo Starr's song: "I'm The Greatest" (1973) and George Harrison's song: "All Those Years Ago" (1981), are the only tracks that feature three ex-Beatles' members. After John Lennon's murder in 1980, the surviving members reunited for the Anthology project in 1994, using the unfinished John Lennon demos tapes for the songs: "Free As A Bird" (1994) and "Real Love" (1995) as the basis for new songs recorded and released as The Beatles. John Lennon's Assassination 🙏: In New York, at approximately 5:00 p.m. on December 8, 1980, John Lennon autographed a copy of his 1980 album: Double Fantasy, for Mark David Chapman before leaving The Dakota Hotel with his wife Yoko Ono for a recording session at the Record Plant. After the session, John Lennon and Yoko Ono returned to The Dakota Hotel in a limousine at around 10:50 p.m. (EST). They left the vehicle and walked through the archway of the building. Mark David Chapman then shot John Lennon twice in the back and twice in the shoulder at close range. John Lennon was rushed in a police cruiser to the emergency room of Roosevelt Hospital, where he was pronounced passed away on arrival at 11:15 p.m. (EST). After John Lennon's passing, historian Jon Wiener filed a Freedom of Information Act request for FBI files that documented the Bureau's role in the deportation attempt. The FBI admitted it had 281 pages of files on John Lennon, but refused to release most of them on the grounds that they contained national security information. In 1983, Jon Wiener sued the FBI with the help of the American Civil Liberties Union of Southern California. It took 14 years of litigation to force the FBI to release the withheld pages. The Justice Department settled most of the outstanding issues outside court by releasing all but 10 of the contested documents. Jon Wiener published the results of his 14-year campaign in January 2000 in the book "Gimme Some Truth: The John Lennon FBI Files", which contained facsimiles of the documents, including "lengthy reports by confidential informants detailing the daily lives of anti-war activists, memos to the White House, transcripts of TV shows on which John Lennon appeared, and a proposal that John Lennon be arrested by local police on drug charges". The story is also told in the 2006 documentary "The US vs. John Lennon". The final 10 documents in John Lennon's FBI file, which reported on his ties with London anti-war activists in 1971 and had been withheld as containing "national security information provided by a foreign government under an explicit promise of confidentiality", were released in December 2006. They contained no indication that the British government had regarded John Lennon as a serious threat; one example of the released material was a report that two prominent British leftists had hoped John Lennon would finance a left-wing bookshop and reading room. Michael Jackson Buys The Beatles Music Catalogue 💰: In 1985, Michael Jackson purchased ATV for a reported $47.5 million. The acquisition gave him control over the publishing rights to more than 200 Beatles songs, as well as 40,000 other copyrights. In 1995, in a deal that earned him a reported $110 million, Jackson merged his music publishing business with Sony, creating a new company, Sony/ATV Music Publishing, in which he held a 50% stake. The merger made the new company, then valued at over half a billion dollars, the third-largest music publisher in the world.[475] In 2016, Sony acquired Jackson's share of Sony/ATV from the Jackson estate for $750 million. This purchase by Michael Jackson reportedly strained his friendship with Paul McCartney who wanted to buy the music catalogue himself. George Harrison Passing 🙏: On November 29, 2001, George Harrison passed away at a property belonging to Paul McCartney, on Heather Road in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles. He was 58 years old. His reported final message to the world was: "Everything else can wait, but the search for God cannot wait, and love one another". He was cremated at Hollywood Forever Cemetery and his funeral was held at the Self-Realization Fellowship Lake Shrine in Pacific Palisades, California. His close family scattered his ashes according to Hindu tradition in a private ceremony in the Ganges and Yamuna rivers near Varanasi, India. The Beatles Honors, Achievements And Awards 🏅: In 1965, Queen Elizabeth II appointed John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr Members of the Order of the British Empire (MBE).The Beatles won the 1971 Academy Award for Best Original Song Score for the film: Let It Be (1970). The recipients of seven Grammy Awards and fifteen Ivor Novello Awards, The Beatles have six Diamond albums, as well as 20 Multi-Platinum albums, 16 Platinum albums and six Gold albums in the US.[309] In the UK, the Beatles have four Multi-Platinum albums, four Platinum albums, eight Gold albums and one Silver album. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988. The best-selling band in history, the Beatles have sold more than 600 million units as of 2023. From 1991 to 2009 The Beatles have sold 57 million albums in United States according to Nielsen Soundscan. They have had more number-one albums on the UK charts, fifteen, and sold more singles in the UK, 21.9 million, than any other act. In 2004, Rolling Stone ranked The Beatles as the most significant and influential rock music artists of the last 50 years. They ranked number one on Billboard magazine's list of the all-time most successful Hot 100 artists, released in 2008 to celebrate the US singles chart's 50th anniversary. As of 2017, they hold the record for most number-one hits on the Billboard Hot 100, with twenty. The Recording Industry Association of America certifies that the Beatles have sold 183 million units in the US, more than any other artist. They were collectively included in Time magazine's compilation of the 20th century's 100 most influential people. In 2014, they received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. On 16 January each year, beginning in 2001, people celebrate World Beatles Day under UNESCO. This date has direct relation to the opening of the Cavern Club in 1957. In 2007, The Beatles became the first band to feature on a series of UK postage stamps issued by the Royal Mail. Earlier in 1999, the United States Postal Service issued a stamp dedicated to The Beatles and Yellow Submarine. John Lennon posthumously got his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1988. The Beatles as a band got their star in 1998. George Harrison got his star posthumously in 2009. Ringo Starr got his star in 2010. Like the band's respective stars, Paul McCartney's star was placed today in front of the famed Capitol Records building in 2012. ****CONTINUE BELOW****

Fun Fact 🕵♂: The Beatles were one of the first groups to make music videos that accompanied their songs, which were done so they could promote their songs without having to show up at television stations. They made a music video for the song: "Ticket To Ride", during a video shoot where they filmed music videos for four other songs as well. All of the videos were filmed inside of a studio setting. The music video for the song: "The Ticket To Ride", had the band performing in front of oversized train and bus tickets.

@IceManLikeGervin PLEASE spell their group name correctly. It's BEATLES with an "A" not spelled like the insect with an "E" beetles. I would THINK you would know that. Thanks

@@patticrichton1135 Condescending tones are for children, lady. You could be nice about pointing out my unintended mistake but I guess that's just not contained within your character 😒. All the best.

The main reason they all sound good is because they were a unified band, not just a few musicians backing up a frontman singer.

S Nation: when you will know their whole work, from "Love me do" in 1962 to "Abbey road" in 1970, you will see that the others were bands, some of them very good bands, but the Beatles were simply a miracle.

Generally accepted as the greatest ever. Try some of their later songs - Here Comes The Sun , Let It Be, and Hey Jude. Their best period.

As a BBC disc jockey said on the air in ‘63 or ‘64, The Beatles hit the show biz jackpot. This was a true statement at the time without having any way of knowing that they would be even more amazing with each incredible year to come. I was a 13 year old watching the Ed Sullivan show on 2/9/64 and they’ve been my favorite artists every minute since. I enjoy seeing kids like you finding them and seeming to “get it”.

John Lennon was the rhythm guitar guy and Paul McCartney was the guy with the very distinctive Hoffner violin bass-his trademark and the trademark of the Beatles!

I don't know if you're interested in reacting to the Beatles again, but if you do, it's really a good idea to go through their catalog by going from their first album to their last. It's amazing to see the early Beatles as they mature. Please, Please Me - Abbey Road.

Some reactions to consider 🤔: Stetsasonic ft Force M.D.'s- Float On, Doctor Ice ft Full Force And Cheryl 'Pepsii' Riley- Love Jones or Whistle- Always And Forever (toninho marcal YT channel). *These songs are all 1980s Hip-Hop covers of classic 1970s love songs by The Floaters, The Brighter Side Of Darkness and Heatwave, respectively.

The Beatles are the Best Selling Artists Worldwide! If you want to see the largest crowd ever for a concert, check out Metallica - Enter Sandman Live Moscow 1991. Please DON'T REACT to the Official Video: the Moscow version is what people want to see you react to. The official video will be a dud for views, and the Live Moscow will be killer.

It's not the biggest crowd at a free concert like this "Monsters of Rock" festival with some more acts like AC/DC or the Black Crowes in September 1991. It's on No.5. Jean-Michel Jarre holds the record, also in Moscow, 1997, with 3,500,000 spectators at the 850th anniversary celebrations of the city. Rod Stewart also had 3,500,000 spectators at Copacabana on New Year's Eve 1994. A year earlier, at the same place, 3,000,000 spectators were calculated for Jorge Ben Jor.
