hard tacos are authentic mexican if you try them. they are called tacos dorados.

Tacos Dorados are usually folded in half and fried. They are typically filled with potatoes, ground beef, or refried beans and they are topped with Ensalada de Pico de Gallo which is a Pico de Gallo salad made with shredded cabbage.

All that fits in a tortilla is a taco, so there are an infinite number of tacos. There are also tacos "Dorados" , these are obviously crunchy and these are usually accompanied by lettuce, tomato, onion, cream, cheese and sauce, they are really tasty. Now the point that it shocks me, burritos are not Tex Mex food, burritos just like nachos, are 100 percent Mexican food, burritos were created in the state of Chihuahua and nachos in Coahuila and as far as I understand these two states belong to Mexico. So why the insistence on saying that burritos and nachos are not 100 percent Mexican food?

@@MaxandJacquelinePeople from the south of Mexico are so undecuated of our food from the north. Flour gorditas, burritos, and nachos are popular in the north. I went to Mexico City and had to go to la Soriana to purchase flour tortillas. I’m from the north of Mexico and I can tell you in my opinion the south has some weird food and yes I include Mexico City.

Im Mexican and hard tacos are a thing in Mexico, they are filled with beans and fried untill hard and crispy. Then you filled them up with lettuce, tomato , onion and salsa. Or you can just eat them fried with beans only, theyre still great. Im from Michoacan and tacos dorados aka hard tacos are a big thing here. There are also soft tacos (tacos suaves) which are tacos that are steamed and soft. So dont feel bad about loving hard tacos, Mexico is a huge country and every state has different ways of doing tacos. Mexico loves hard, soft and regular tacos so enjoy. ❤

They actually do eat hard tacos in Mexico; flautas and tacos dorados (fried hard shell tacos) are Northern Mexican.

He's funny. I like tex mex tacos too but once a month or every 2 months. You know you get tired eating the same foods , tacos too. I love texas or deep south Barbecue Food .1 last thing , eat with few ingredients when eating new food to acclimatize and appreciate. Easier in our insides
