@J H She just doesn't like spice, which is more common among Asians than you might otherwise think. Almost everything they had they could have gotten a mild version, but they opted for the spicier stuff because Mexicans cook with a lot of hot peppers.

Mexico was a very rich country until Conquistadors fucked our native women, and converted us to Catholicism. Being mestizos with Spanish last names is the fuck you they left us up to this day. Mexico is a rich country, even now. Just not compared to the other NA countries. Their government is too corrupt to fully prosper.

My favorite has always been Chinese food as well. I've noticed that Chinese people make something similar to a Saladito, it's dried fruit, they either salt or sugar it and it's eaten as a snack or treat. I prefer the mexican version but maybe cuz I'm used to it. Notice any ingredients that are used between the two cuisines?
