First, thank you for taking the time to show your style on this platform, second KEH I've picked up a few cameras from them from excellent to bargain, and each one works without any issues on the camera side. I love the story sometimes I feel wild and buy cameras on eBay 90% of the time from stores overseas yeah the shipping is a downer but the cameras work great. and last you should look at Nick Carver's youtube as far as a fix for your camera I had the same issue with three of my cameras which I didn't get from stores. As for cameras, I have Mamiya 645 supers yeah more than one, and a Mamiya 645 AFD which I got by mistake due to not reading the posting. I've been into film cameras for a bit and enjoy most of the cameras I came across and I hope you stick with it enjoy the ride sometimes you feel a bump but don't let that discourage you from shooting your art.

Oh man that sucks about the camera you must have been shattered those things are expensive too! Photos still look beautiful though and the video is awesome especially doing it on your own. Also yesssss to not having a camera bag haha me either they are always so ugly. 🤣

I was absolutely shattered since it wasn't an "intentional blur" buuuut I'm just glad I saw it now rather than later! And thank you so much! Maybe I just need to bring a little tripod 😊 So glad I'm not the only one who thinks camera bags are hideous!

I like your take on the Super. I have about 6 (M645) series Also a few that are for parts. I have repaired three of my cameras. I was just wondering if you have gotten that camera fixed. Also, I know that is NY but processing just three rolls of film is robbery. OK, it's business but that is to the extreme. Everyone has to pay bills and make money, but No. I stopped sending my film years ago, and I am not a professional. All of my processing is done at home. And now with the digital application, I can scan anything with my setup. If have gotten that camera fixed please let me know and I will see what I can do. If needs be the part can be made and printed in 3d, which I can do also. I have designed and created a battery box for my M645 power winder. All I need to do is get the electrical items and put it together. I will check your website out in the meantime.

Wow! That's amazing! I found a 3D printer and I got my mirror stop finally fixed. I def need to develop myself now that I have the space!

Solid Images, and I really enjoyed the black and white set. However, $72 to scan + dev is expensive. $30+ for black and white is worse. Especially when chems are so affordable. Have you considered moving towards developing your own film or at the very least scanning it yourself?
@MKRShoots3 жыл бұрын
It is sooo expensive!! I hurt everything I see that money slip away from my hands! I definitely plan on developing and scanning myself but the way our apartment is set up here in Lower East Side.....I don't have space and I def need space for it. Preferably somewhere not so dusty!

Hi. Check out the video by Nick Carver on this exact problem. He used a company that made the part on a 3D printer. Easy fix then for camera repair shops. Regards Dave.

Broken mirror stop is a chronic disease for this kind of camera that ruins alignment of the mirror for a proper focusing. Sorry for you. Have you tried finding someone who can 3D print the part to replace? Like here for instance: jaredlichtenbergerphoto.com/blog/mamiya-645-pro-mirror-stop-repair (I do not know the website, just a quick google search).

$72 for scanning and developing 😳. I think you need a new lab. And maybe consider scanning at home either either a film scanner or digital camera. I felt pain when you said $72. 😭😭😭
@dereklitvak48463 жыл бұрын
Also, I’d totally report the eBay seller to get your money back. Selling broken gear as basically unused is unacceptable.

It hurt me in the gut letting go of $72! I do want to develop and scan myself but I need a bigger space for it. NYC isn't necessarily known for big apartments, lol!
@MKRShoots3 жыл бұрын
And yes, I am trying to figure out how I can do that right now. I didn't even share that the film back was cracked. He gave me a $200 for a cracked film back BUT now, I think I'm gonna need more of my money back!
