Listen they are Very fun when you do Smaller events to start out or even to Table split with people you know. But there's always good and bad conventions. once I get my ALA 2024 video up you'll see that convention was amazing

Oof! Honestly, as a vendor who takes the bus and can only bring as much as I can carry on my own back, that's pretty much how I feel at every market event, even the little indoor rows-of-table ones. Everyone else has gorgeous cottagecore ikea-showroom style table set ups with jewelry mounted on moss-laden logs or whatever, and I'm just laying my art prints on my grey table cloth hoping that my ART of moss-laden logs was good enough lol.

To answer your question on the meters: really depends where you are. I’ve seen some that still take them but a lot have gone over to card/online payments
