This reminds me of what happened to Canberra Gammacon in Australia. People were charged different prices for the same type of table in the same area. And the artist alley was split into three areas. One of which no one knew about except the artists 🥹

Feeling like a lot of cons are focusing on the autographs more. At Sacanime the autographs were sandwiched in the same hall has the vendors and artist alley. For the algorithm, I gotta say snorlax as favorite Pokémon, but really love the ghost type! :)

I am SO SORRY that you and so many others had such a horrible time, that was awful how you all were treated. I'm catching up on your videos because youtube stopped notifying me months ago it seems, so I came over to check in and see if you were okay or if youtube was just being dumb. Turns out it was being dumb, and you also have had it so hard, too. I really and sincerely hope things will be better, and good things will come into your life, and I hope everyone who got screwed over at that joke of a con will also experience better things. I didnt go to LA Comicon but I was in LA at the same time (there was a concert in the exact same area as the con) so I saw people from the con around there! I’ve been a fan for years so I hope I can meet ya some day ^^

This con went downhill fast when they rebranded from Comikaze to LA Comic Con…and when Stan Lee passed. Comikaze used to be a con held over the Halloween weekend. Autograph rates are not the same post-Panda. I used to get them for $20 tops. We can’t get those prices ever again.

This was my second time at LACC. I went from 10x10 to Artist Alley. I made like $300 in profit which is something and yet nothing lol. And you can't help help but think "Is it me? Is it my set up? Is it my merch?" Ugh.

right this is a mindset I tend to have a lot. Its why if i'm doing bad at a con. I like to ask other artists how they are doing. I find out if over 50% are doing the same its the event not you

Sorry the con wasn't that great, but I'm glad you got to have some fun with your friends at least! ^-^ Some convention/art show organizers are just WILDLY out of touch and/or greedy. I had a couple of new shows I tried this year that I won't be back to for for similar reasons. They just charge too much for the amount of foot traffic they bring in and it always feels like a total waste of time to sit in a place where most of it is silent dead time between people walking by.

saw u at the con and said hi i knew already by how you and kuma (also a friend of his) were already felling i could tell that something is up then when u said all that shit with the tables i was like hell nah i knew there was trouble. with the photo thing i saw the prices they are ridiculous. $50 is the usually what id go for but at least id get to meet them too. at least you broke even sorry yall went throught that. i know now not to table there

my town hosted their first ever comic con this year in June it was held in the jr high's auditorium, so everything was all in one place a bit cramped and things werent too bad i alomst got the voice actor for Lord Death from Soul Eater's autograph [ it was i think $40- $60] but i was tired and wanted to go home next year in May, imma be doing AA there, gonna be my first time doing so, im both nervous and excited also my fave Pokemon is Shinx :D

Wow, that sounds awful. Also about weird people at cons... there is harmless weird, and then there is stuff that is creepy or dangerous or outright bigoted. Sniff guy, adult film recruiter guy and red armband guy are definitely second category.

Fav Pokemon: Evee. Sorry to hear about the mishaps. Con diffinitly screwed a lot of the artists over. The whole "Oh, they are more important so you have to move" bit was super ridiculous. Felt super bad for that artist when you talked about that part. But good on your husband for having your back and others when it came to the chair rentals.
