It's impressive how much the production team managed on the tiny budget and tight schedule; they really kept the sense of scale very well throughout. The sink is particularly impressive: not only is it well executed but is is also set high enough above the studio floor to allow the actors to climb into the drain. Then there's also the question of how they managed to get the high viewpoint shots; as discussed back at the start of season 1, the studio cameras weren't exactly mobile.

I LOVE the sets in this one. The ordinary things on a giant scale are so fun and appealing. I don’t know what their budget was but you can tell they put a lot into the production of this serial. The story after this one is clearly an all-out, high budget affair as well so you’re really in for some treats in your coming viewings. And now I wish there were a giant gerbil somewhere, lol.
