" perfectly imperfect "...great reaction... hard to sit still and not smile while all this raw fun was going on. He was making movies for about nine years and was extremely nervous about performing for an audience again. He wasn't sure he would be accepted.. Thankfully he found the courage to step out on stage and he quickly found out that he was very much accepted and he looked like he was having a great time.

@@Jeri_C11 hi Jeri.....I am well it's always great to hear from you.. This week is tough and like you said it's always been this way since he passed....every day . I am so grateful for the time he was here but of course it was not long enough for those of us who loved him so much. We carry on ...honoring his musical legacy but even more importantly the human being he was....kind...always trying to help others ( whether he knew them or not)... a loving and devoted son and father...loved his fans ...funny...financially helped many people in ways that changed their lives...a loyal friend.......a strong work ethic...these are a few qualities I will remember him for in addition to his enormous talent . For so many of us he was and remains......UNFORGETTABLE....❤️❤️❤️ God bless you Jeri and your loved ones...Thank you for always reaching out and for being so devoted to keeping his memory and legacy alive.Sending you much love too🌻💕

@@susyq810 Thanks so much. Love to you and yours also. I thought after 47 years it would get better but it still makes me well up in tears when I listen to his music or read such beautiful words as yours. It’s like losing someone you knew. I recall Austin Butler saying that”Elvis was the first person he loved without knowing him personally “. I believe Elvis will always be a part of him and after meeting and connecting so deeply with Lisa Marie & having a barbecue at Graceland, playing Elvis’s guitar & then losing her so quickly. I know I find it hard to look at her px. But as we all do with the tragic loss of loved ones and the guilt sometimes, I truly believe they are together as my loved ones are. I do hope we see them when it’s our turn. Maybe we’ll even meet Elvis and hear him sing. I’m sure I’ll see you elsewhere. I always spot your pink flower 🌸. 🎸🕺🏻🎸🕺🏻🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️❤️❤️❤️

Hi Mike, this is what a reaction channel should deliver. I have been a huge Elvis fan since 1961 and I have at least one version of every song he put his vocals to. All 768 individual song titles! But YOUR reaction gives me back what I have perhaps lost ….. the unfettered love for Elvis’ songs and performances. Through your reaction I hear again, as though for the first time, all the brilliance right there on my screen. A standing ovation to you for bringing these performances back to me, full of life and refreshed wonderment! 💜

Elvis voice covers two octaves and a third, from the baritone low-G to the tenor high B, with an upward extension in falsetto to at least a D flat. Presley's best octave is in the middle, D-flat to D-flat, granting an extra full step up or down. Call him a high baritone
@Jeri_C114 ай бұрын
Right before he went out, he told Steve Binder the director that he couldn’t do it. He was so frightened and had stage fright that his anxiety led to his insecurities. Steve told him “ just go out and talk to one another and after you sing a song and if you can’t do it, come back”. He knew once Elvis got out there the music inside him he always needed to get out and his deep love for it would take over. Take over it did. He was very tentative and self conscious when he first came out but his relationship with the guys and the live audience he had missed so dearly started to get him to push on. He said after first 3 songs he was so into it that his confidence built & he was fine. He never shook that anxiety and stage fright his whole life. But once he walked on and started singing he was lost in creating and singing the music he loved. He was one singer who really sang from his soul. Great reaction too as you always do. 😅❤❤

Beautiful man who was part of my childhood. He was the icon of fashion, sexuality, and great fun at the movies.he was a great and generous humanitarian. He helped eradicate Polio in the 50's, Helped build the Pearl Harbor Memorial, Helped build Saint Judges Hospital in Memphis, just so much. Watch "Elvis Presley King of Kindness". He truly loved people and gave gifts to his fans. You are a great reactor. Thanks

Regarding the word "toenail" darlin': when Lloyd Price wrote & recorded the song he was saying 'Tarnelle' which is the woman's name in the song. The story is that Elvis sang Tarnelle but Scotty Moore thought Elvis said toenail, everyone thought that was very funny so they kept it that way. But interestingly, when you listen to Lloyd Price singing it, it does sound like toenail, then if you slow it down very much you can hear Tarnelle. Imperfect Elvis is exactly how it should be -- all natural, not so overly rehearsed that it's "stiff" w-each performance being exactly the same. That was one of the great things about him -- the little flub of lyrics, a joke here or there & the greatness of changing the lyrics occasionally without sounding ridiculous.

@@therewatchproject Thanks. For me it's always been about more than just looking & listening -- I love background information that goes along w-how/why a song came to be, rehearsing to create it, etc. The issue w-Elvis is a lot of bad/wrong information is always circulating, & people who believe everything, especially when it's coming from someone who knew him for 1,000 yrs.; finding the truth is a challenge & rumors aboound, such as the non-stop laughing song that people believe but never happened. Thx & have a good weekend.

Excellent reaction, and comments, as always. It’s hard to believe Elvis was so nervous before these live audience sit around sessions, that he almost backed out at the last minute. Another thing I these 68 performances show, is that he could definitely play the guitar. I don’t know if you have watched some of his concerts, where he is very self deprecating. He one time said something like, ‘I only knew three chords, but I sure fooled them.’ Thanks for sharing!

The 2 sit down shows, that they cut together with the 2 stand up shows for the Tv Show, are NOT UNPLUGGED. During the sit down shows Elvis and his guitar player Scotty Moore, changed their guitars, so that one of them always plays the electric guitar. And an electric guitar needs to be plugged.
