It's from Much ado about nothing and some lines were literally taken from the play and added here. Whenever somebody says "I just made that up" or "I just came up with that" it means that whatever they just said was taken almost word for word from the play

i’m so glad y’all enjoyed this movie. when i first saw it, i fully went in expecting to not really like it but i ended up loving it! it’s so fun and feel good and it doesn’t feel like it needs to be the most cinematic masterpiece ever. it was cheesy and awkward at times which added to the charm and i enjoyed sydney and glenn’s chemistry a lot. just all around a good movie!

By the way, you mentioned it in this reaction that the movie is based on a play by Shakespeare. The play is Much Ado About Nothing. I was never really into Shakespeare or English literature before. But there is a rapper, Akala, who founded the hip hop Shakespeare company, and it put a twist on it I hadn't ever seen before. Many don't know this, but Nick and Cory are esteemed philosophers who have changed countless lives around the world. In fact, it is believed in certain circles that Nick is this generation's Nicolaus Copernicus. Cory is this generation's Cory Mathews, who is a more recent historical figure.
